EFES Terminating AmAm Without Giving Me Notification....

That's pathetic!!! They should've sent those agents and the people that trained them to do that over to Afghanistan to serve with the soldiers they screwed!! Also, that $10,000,000 settlement only comes out to $175 each! AmAm should've had to refund the premiums!:mad:

----------

Could that have anything to do with all the money they got from screwing the members of our military?:skeptical:

No. It comes from their merger with a HUGE company out of Canada. I understand they F'd up.....A MILLION YEARS AGO. So...you've never f'd up? The government is f'ing up our military right now. So...are you gonna just leave the country and not pay taxes?

Come on brother....it's apples and oranges. AmAm simply wanted all the business. EFES wanted all the perks. They agreed to disagree. That's all.

I f_ck up all the time...but when I do it, it's not intentional! Hell no I'm not leaving the country! As bad as our crooked politicians/government are...this is still the best country to live in IMHO!

Exactly. Not trying to be a prick. Just trying to make a point. Listen...the carrier themselves didn't go "hey...lets F over our military people". There is always a few bad apples in every organization. Though the pay out per person wasn't a lot...the payout in itself was HUGE! And they still have the capital and rating they have.

They're not the best carrier by far. But damn...to pay full commission on their limited death benefit plans is HUGE. EFES was the only company that lowered comp on limited death benefits to their agents. What's up with that????

That's about like Joe Paterno saying he didn't know what Sandusky was doing.

I don't care how well they pay...after reading that article, I'd never do business with them. There are too many other companies out there to have to lower your standards.

Many companies pay full comp on limited benefit plans. and contrary to what was said AmAm is not even close to the lowest premium on smokers.

The action against them may have been 10 years ago but the company has never admitted to wrongdoing or offered an apology. The corporate mindset hasn't changed and they would do it again if they thought they could get away with it.

I would love to know the other FE carriers that pay full comp on limited death plans. I'm asking seriously. Not being a smart ass.

How do you know they haven't? Or are you assuming. Because they have. They did. You may be going off of assumption.

GPM and United Heritage both pay the same comp on level and graded plans, less on modified, phone sales not allowed, thats why you don't know about them

He knows about them but he is now pimping AmAm. He will be busting on AmAm before long. Won't take him long to waer out his welcome there either.

They pay full comp on ROP? Oooooh Aaaaaah, BFD.

I am independent, I am not captive to a company or semi captive to an agency. You and your agents may not have the same freedoms I have. I can choose to work with the companies I want. There is nothing that AmAm has that I need. And a history I hate.

You said they have poor customer service but a good website. Does that not raise any flags to you. Where do they put their efforts. On the other hand, it may mesh with your own. But they pay full comp on ROP. Oooooh!

BTW, I had a big contract with them. I think they even paid full comp on ROP.

Yeah, but UH has Great customer service and just an OK website. So that does not fit in with his style.

Total BS. I was one of the young soldiers they preyed on in the early 80s and they did it consistently and for many years. They absolutely knew they were F'ing over the military. Had you ever worn a uniform, you'd understand the contempt many of us have for AA....Yeah, those are the initials of this despicable company.
