Because that was the culture. You must have forgotten that I know someone who was under you. They didn't want to commit full-time and you offered them a 75% contract. If you were at 140%, you made just as much as they did off everything they sold.You're still showing you just don't know what you don't know. When I recruit agents I'm doing what I can (commission %, training, encouragement, lead financing, etc) to keep them on my team long term being successful and happy.
There's enough turn over in this industry, why would I shoot myself in the foot by offering commission %'s so low that mathematically they wouldn't be able to last? That's just plain ignorance.
