Equita Final Expense

the last few months i was with efes, i got alot of leads that were in their 20's and 30's and 40's and i was told "it is what it is, they dont have control on the age"

Don't see the problem.. People in their 20s, 30s and 40s buy insurance and apparently these had gone to the trouble to send a card in. Many of the SI companies will write these ages if you don't want to use a fully underwritten plan or if they have a health problem.

They continued to ship me leads from other agents leads - and they noted this expressly themselves, and also I was locked out of the system and they continued to ship and bill for leads.

As far as the numbers for the other agents, I would like to see those numbers verified, and the leads by which they were sold. I myself am quite sure I was getting recycled leads. And they aren't qualified, at all. False advertising as far as I'm concerned. I closed roughly 25% of my leads nevertheless.

Unless things have changed, their is a code on the leads they mailed for you that will very clearly tell you it is your lead.

That's not the point. EFES is an FE IMO. The leads are for the FE market. While you can sell to the other ages you should not pay for leads that are not in the market you signed up for.

It's never a problem for the agents in the Travis Tubbs group. We just send an email to EFES that the person or persons are not in the FE age range and we get credit.

Now, there is a difference if have been a problem for EFES in the past. They have a "strike system" for missed payments and such. I'm sure sure how that works since I've never had a strike. There is one agent on Travis' team that has a few stikes. I don't know how many but I do know that agent has a little more difficulty in getting credits handled.

That's understandable to me.

Now, the teleleads are a different story. I have had much difficulty in getting bad ones credited and getting them to agree that the lead is bad.

But, age range credits have never been an issue.

Ive gotten those too, Shannon got me credit on 1 like 6mos ago, but it was not easy & EFES didnt want to. But Ive gotten 2-3 more since & I never receive credit on those, even with Shannon's help...I gave up trying!

Eric's stance was...."we have products we can offer 40yr olds, so you can still sell it."

You should never pay for a FE lead of someone under the age of 50 if you are paying per lead in a "Final Expense" lead program. If you get anymore let me know.

If it is a husband and wife, and one is over 50, that would qualify as a lead.

That's right. Leads mailed for you have your code on them. You would always know if you were sold someone else's lead.

Just had 1 last week, told Shannon & he remembered what happened last time (I wasnt credited) so he said to just send an email & plead with them. I never did, but I told them almost word for word what u just posted ^^^^ there.....to no avail!!

This is what pisses me off, some ppl or group seems to have 1 set of rules vs another with them!

And to JDs point, I have never had a NSF with EFES, never. In over a yr, 2-3 times I did properly communicate with them I needed more time to pay for my leads (a few days) & gave them an exact day & there were no problems.

So why you guys get credit for leads under 50 & I cant....is beyond me!

I never had an issue getting credits when I was there either. Maybe it is a production thing, or maybe Travis' group is extra special.

Because Travis is a stand up kind of guy? Any dealings I've had with Travis, although it is usually indirectly, he's proven himself to be just that.

I can't say the same about Shannon. I'm sorry if me saying that doesn't set well with some, but I call them like I see them.

I wasn't implying that you had any issues with EFES. I'm sorry if it came across that way. I was speaking in general. The only person I know of that had trouble getting credits was also always having overdrafts and returns on the payments to EFES. I can understand how a person like that is not going to get heard.

Travis is the most stand up person that you ever run across. He will fight for his agents just as hard , if not harder, than he does for himself. But, I have never had to get travis involved in credits for age. Never had a reason to. When I get them, {which is very seldom anyway}, I simply send an email and about a hour later I get an email back saying, "lead is marked never billed".

I have had to get travis involved in geting credits for the teleleads. Everytime he has agreed with me that the lead should be credited I have goten credit. If travis says the lead is good, even when I disagree, I don't ask for credit.
