Frank Stastny - RIP

Frank's wife just called me with the terrible news that Frank died in his sleep last night. He had been going through some health issues lately but this was unexpected.

He was one of my best friends, albeit from a distance. I only had the pleasure of seeing him in person once but we talked at least twice a week.

I will miss him greatly.

Rick

Very sad news, my thoughts are with his family. I only talked to him a few times on the forum, but read a lot of his post. He was always very helpful to me as a new agent just getting started. I will miss his posts and advice.

Oh my!! I'm shocked and truly saddened. While I never met him in person I felt like I knew him better than people I grew up with. Many phone conversations and he was such a help to me and my business.

He was a truly great man.

To laugh often and love much;
to win the respect of intelligent persons
and the affection of children;
to earn the approbation of honest critics
and to endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others;
to give of one's self;
to leave the world a little better,
whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
to have played and laughed with enthusiasm
and sung with exultation;
to know that even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived,
this is to have succeeded.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Then Frank was one of the most successful men I knew.

Wow, that is shocking. Frank was a truly giving man, I have heard from many people over the years who he has "taught to fish" who never posted publicly, he was never one to seek praise or thanks.

He gave me the right mindset about prospecting and you can't put a price on that in this business. talked to me about an hour on the phone just to help. stand up guy

My initial thought was that Rick was yanking our chain. Sorry Rick, but that's the type of guy you seem to be.

Since it appears to be true, I am reminded of what a former talk radio personality here in Atlanta would say,

Just Damn!

Frank was definitely one of the good guys and will be greatly missed.
