One of my clients had a heart "flutter" several months ago. The doctor need a procedure called a catheter ablation. From what I see, it looks like if that this could lead to her having atrial Fib. She is 64 and not any meds at all. She is a smoker.
This looks like it falls under the question of having an irregular heartbeat. Royal Neighbor's underwriter said that the procedure would be same as having heart surgery, and other companies that I have looked at won't issue an immediate benefit if they have an irregular heartbeat. Monumental will issue at standard, but not preferred and that is way higher than another company's preferred plan. Any suggestions?
