Hiring Telemarketers?

Well if you don't mind my asking, where in the 2-5 range did it average?

I would take a WAG and say 3.5. I would think that is reasonable if you are including all leads, not people that you can help at this time.

Couple of questions for all of you who use/hire telemarketers.

What do you pay them per hour?
Do you hire them full time or part time?
Do you let them work from their home, or your home/office?
How many leads do they average per day or per hour?

I am using a predictive dialer, and have tried to hire telemarketers in the past, with good and bad results.

Lets say I hire one full time and start them at $10/hour, and they get me 10 leads a day. (I do not want them to set appts, just generate leads). Doesn't this sound better then buying shared internet leads? If I can get an "exclusive" lead from a telemarketer for an average of $10 a lead, that sounds better then buying $80 worth of internet shared leads, correct? Thoughts?

Can any of you share a script that you have your telemarketers use?

Any thoughts/advice on this subject will be greatly appreciated!

There are no shortcuts in our business, I have done everything from buying leads to direct mail,these produce very little results. I have found out the best way to make money in this business is warm market and recruiting. Most agents are searching for the golden egg, you will search forever because there isint one, I know I was one of them. What I have found in this business is work with a company that has a system and follow that system 100%, learn the ststem, recruit agents, teach them the system and have them duplicate and recruit agents. You will never search for leads again and make a great income.

Any of the MLM's will do! (Primerica, WFG, Capital Choice, HBW, Hegemon Financial)

Which gets me thinking, I wonder why no one has come up with a senior market insurance MLM?

You wouldn't sell the supp on the first call, you would just sell them on the dream of being able to supplement their social security check by helping their fellow senior friends with their Medicare! Recruit them, then go sell their warm market while their studying for their license and certifications!

In summation:
I can't sell and I'm a failure as an agent, but I'm highly qualified to recruit and train agents. Got it!

Don't you get it Gooner? All you need is three people! Then help each of them get three people....

I've sold for both Kirby and Cutco. Know where the bulk of the new sales come from? You hire college aged kids, from upper-middle class homes, then, stick 'em in a 3 day training class, and let them practice on their rich parents, who usually give in and buy to encourage their kid's new sales career!

I didn't have any rich parents, or even a car, so I had to convince them me to hire me, and let me go door to door!
