Our POTUS is black? Wow. Didn't know that. I thought he was 1/2 black and 1/2 white. Guess that makes him something like - HUMAN! Geez, get off the racist rants people!

I've been saying that since last year. I dont get it. He's just as much white as he is black, but everyone focuses on his black half.

It is perfectly fine and normal to disagree with someone based on principle. It is not fine, and certainly not normal, to accuse someone who disagrees of racism.

Get used to this. It's only the beginning.

The country is headed for disaster, period. Al (who is clueless that he's clearly the biggest racist on the forum) may want to put his spin on it because he's so happy that a (1/2) black man is President (neglecting that it was purely by design) and neglect to realize where we are headed. The government will own and control a piece of everything, so it seems. Foreign policy is more important then helping Americans. The sheeple in the country have no clue and are still blindly loyal to Obama (see Al as an example).

If Obama was clear (not black or white) and had no label (not democrat or republican) would you like what's going on right now?

This is bigger than healthcare people!!

Obviously we are an above average intellect of people. What do you suggest we do, other than debate, complain and argue about it?

Rob's just another huckster here to sell us, Freddie has a ton of anger management issues (he's not alone here,) and many others here who see me as the "evil doer" have some other agenda... homophobia, Jesus-freak, gun nut, greed, xenophobia, ethnocentrism, etc.

If I didn't get criticism from guys like Winter, and Freddie, and the huckster Rob, I'd be very concerned. Most of this board does not have the IQ of Rally, STI's Beagle.

As I've said before, this board serves more of an entertainment venue for most people. Those who want solid insurance info, often find Glen's board as well as a couple of others to be far more substantive. People here would rather fight than help.

If I ran this board it would be different, but I don't run it, so it is what it is... and is quite good at letting lonely, frustrated experienced agents, as well as newbie agents... vent some steam. We all need that once in a while.

The argument to my mind is plain...

It's a choice between whether the individual is more important than the collective or the other way around.

I for one believe the individual is more important. For it is the individual who exercises free will and it is the individual who makes up the collective.

I believe each person should make the best individual bargain that they can in life for themselves and the ones they love.

I have great sympathy for those who can not help themselves but i have no patience and no sympathy for those who will not help themselves when they have the power to do so.

Unfortunately the vast majority of citizens are ignorant that every time one abdicates their individual responsibility to a government of any kind they become a little less free. My great fear is the whining for governmental help and the resultant increased taxation will not abate until the middle class wakes up as slaves in the land of the free.

Those who sacrifice their natural will for government handouts end up poorer than before.

Say what you want but I'm not here just to make a living off of the backs of newbie agents as you are.

It seems to me that if you were as good at "it" as you say you are... you'd be doing "it," not teaching "it."

No reason why he can't do both. Maybe teaching "it" is his way of giving back to the community.

And I may be new here, but I don't see Rob as being like the NAA.
