So far it is ok to insinuate we are a bunch of racists and that anyone who says they can appreciate how he feels is insulting, ignorant and I presume a racist as well.

This thread has gotten quite amusing and really pretty much confirms what I have suspected. Reverse racism is alive and well, but a lot of people tell themselves it is ok because they are black, a minority, whatever.

Toby if post #18 is not a blanket statement about the rural south, I don't know what else it could be. It a a plain indication that you do not feel that there is anywhere in the rural south that you would fell safe to work. Why would that be?

You never misquoted me, but I HAVE been misquoted several times here & no one says a thing about those. The quote you did make of me was a feeling/opinion, but apparently you are the judge & jury & determined its a blanket statement, so therefore it is!

I corrected your 2nd paragraph above! And as you or someone else pointed out (and rightly so), racism can be against ANY race, its not exclusive to whites being racists towards minorities....so the term "reverse racism" is an oxymoron & doesnt even make sense.
