I suggested that. He called them and they said they discontinued the program. Mitsubishi if I recall.
He meant home and auto insurance companies. Most also have life insurance and many have a GI policy.

Ah gotcha. He's not going to pay the price. Balked at $65 level coverage for $15,000.
Got the "I could save put that money in the bank," objection.
I don't overcome friend's objections. It is what it is.
I would never let anyone or anything make me lose my sanity
Don't forget he is probably going to have a car payment 10 years from now....People rarely keep a car until it is paid off.. they make a new loan for a new car.. If he buys the level coverage, he still has the insurance to pay off the "new" loan at the"old rate"..Yup.
"I understand Bob, You just have to promise Betty Sue that you are going to out live the car note."
$10,000.00 / $65. = 153.85 months / 12mo = 12 3/4 years. to save up the $10,000
But yeah, as long as the friend's wife knows you tried. "OK, let's have a beer."
Do you have children?
I am always amazed at what the public think. Covered a young lady in her early 80's 2 wks ago. Her something old daughter who lived with her was next on my list... except she had a stroke the next week!
Went back one week after daughter got out of the hospital... daughter didn't want to talk to me... "she doesn't need life insurance "...
You gotta love some people's idea of a logic box.
This is GREAT! I am almost there with all 3. I still door knock my leads. I grew early on to hate the phone. In my areas i work, if i let them know when i am coming. They know when not to be home. LOL!!!!People will ask me what I do for living and I tell them but their came a point in my time doing insurance where I also realized to tell people what I dont do for a living:
1. I dont chase ghosts
2. I don't fix "stupid"
3. I don't work miracles
If I call you numerous times and I never get you like you are never home or no one has ever answered the phone or I spoke to you once and could never reach you after that, you are a ghost to me (and no I do not door knock folks at this time in my career). I'm not a ghost buster!
If you have as they say "one foot in the grave" and you want day one coverage or preferred ratings or you need me to convince you why you should get insruance when you dont have any and you are in retirement age I don't fix "stupid."
If you want adequate insurance for $10 or less a month and you are 60 plus for example - I dont work miracles.
I have learned to find joy in selling to folks as well as NOT selling to folks. I would never let anyone or anything make me lose my sanity.
I'm with you on that! With my clientele, if I can't get in on the initial doorknock, I just tell them, "I'm normally in this neighborhood on Monday. Are you usually home In the afternoon? Ok, I'll stop by next Monday afternoon." Unless they want to pin me down to a particular time, I just leave it at that. Seems to work better for me.This is GREAT! I am almost there with all 3. I still door knock my leads. I grew early on to hate the phone. In my areas i work, if i let them know when i am coming. They know when not to be home. LOL!!!!
