IMO Questions

Wouldn't Asurea be an option as well? As far as Asurea, EFES, and Securus are concerned.....will any of these companies offer and independent career model which will enable a higher commission scale?

Not being able to sell MOO and Forresters would be about as bad for an FE agent as not being able to download Yoko Ono's greatest hits on my iPhone.

I didn't realize that MOO and Forester's were that kind of players in the FE game! I have a backup IPOD with YOKO's SOLOS in case my iphone dies. Worst case scenerio I have a CD with all of her B sides stashed by the spare tire.

Well, it's been a couple of days since I posted my first question/comments on this forum. Did I ask a bad question or does nobody want to repond to the newby??!!!

My question is if I choose an IMO and get contracted with MOO or Foresters and things don't work out and I want a release but the IMO will not grant a release can I move to another IMO and get contracted with other carriers?

Yes.

This is the question Bazinga is referring to.

My original question was answered already but thanks Josh.
Bazinga, I am not qualified to answer your question but in my research I have found that there is two paths to take in the final expense business. If you want higher commissions you need to go independent and get training on your own or from an upline. If you want training and support you will need to go captive and be ready to focus on your warm market.(friends, family, etc.) Also it seems captive companies will have you focus on a more broad range of products and not just final expense.

If you're going to buy leads from them, a "higher commission" level is not likely. If you mean 105, 110, 115. That's the main reason agents work for IMO's. If a high contract is what you want then buy leads on your own. IMO's particularly are good for getting leads. But that's about it. Some training too.

Side note: not ALL of them

Thank you for the info.....If I could, I would get directly appointed with a couple of carriers, problem being that I don't have enough production to merit getting appointed directly. I do have start up money for mailers/marketing! I have a business plan written out and a vision of how good this business will turn out! Just trying to figure out the most effective way to hook up with carriers and be rewarded for my hard work.

Also, am I thread jacking? Should I start a new thread or what?:1err:
