Is it seriously Possible to be a Part-Time Agent

For somebody to make money, many more must lose money. The money has to come from somewhere after all.

Unless Primerica is paying commissions on recruitment fees, then this is not a true statement. The problem with Primerica as an insurance agency is that the commissions paid to the selling agent are too low for that agent to pay him- or herself a living wage. But if one follows their model of prospecting one's warm market, then any money lost would have been business expenses, which would not have profited your upline.

Insurance, as it is distributed through the agency model, is a MLM. I am in an MLM distribution network, as are most, if not all of the agents replying to you. There is nothing inherently wrong with using MLM a distribution system.

It is however, an easily manipulated and abused form of product distribution. You feel as though you are a victim of such or abuse. Perhaps you are. But that still begs the question as to what you hope to accomplish here. You have been asked that exact question several times, and you choose not to answer it. If you continue without answering, your reception here will likely continue to be chilly so long as you press forward with this discussion.

It's your choice how folks view you, you know. So, tells us, what is it that caused you to sign up for membership to this forum and begin posting to this discussion?

you mean like the 39,241 who left last year?

How many signed up?

I would not be surprised if most of the agency builders here see a majority of recruits fail out of the business. Not only is this not for everyone, this is not even for most of those who have succeeded in other sales professions.

My understanding from people I know who started at Primerica is they start you off at a 25% contract they don't pay you for renewals. But they preach for you to recruit. They pretty much look for anyone who isn't a wallflower and sell them on the idea of retiring through residuals. They are mostly "agency builders" who try to sell you on retiring early.

Please do not imply that MLM is part of the brotherhood of insurance professionals. It is a completely different industry.

Hmm... interesting... you don't know how to sell do you? You keep grinding your ax...

Do some reading of your own past post... grind... grind... grind...

Ask for some help... there are those on here that can do that for you...

You have a bug up your bottom...

Why sell when I can just recruit, then sell to them. Oh yeah, forgot, when they leave the first thing they do is cancel.
