Issues Contracting with EFES

Just wait until you have to give back the trophy due to recruiting violations.

Yeah, that's the whine of the losers now. They have nothing else.

I'm positive that UT has been on probation more often and more recently than UK.

Now, I will admit that UK sucks at foosball, but we even beat UT at that last season wiuth a tight end playing quarterback.:twitchy:

Yeah, UT football has been rough of late. I could care less about basketball. Just remember, Memphis had their Final Four appearance vacated because of Calipari. Guys like that are usually repeat offenders.

That's wrong. They did not have it vacated because of Cal. It was vacated because of Derrick Rose. Cal was cleared by the NCAA. Same at UMass. Cal was not implicated by the NCAA in that deal either. He has never had an NCAA sanction in his career.

The Memphis deal was a raw deal all the way around. I believe that Memphis will win that appeal. The NCAA clearing house OK'ed Derrick Rose to play. Not just once, but twice.

They then declared him ineligible retroactively after the season was over. That's still under appeal. I can't imagine that Memphis won't win that.

Ok, I gonna highjack this thread a bit more to go into more details of this UK team JD. I have 2 questions since I dont follow college B-ball near as much as I used to....is this a 1st, where ALL 5 starters are declaring for the NBA draft, it has to be right?? And are ALL 5 that good that they should be going or are a few reaching??

I'm not a U of M fan, so I don't know the whole story and I don't really care.

But it sounds like this is twice in his career already with similar situations. Usually where there is smoke there is fire. Hopefully he is clean, but better watch out.

They are all projected as 1st round picks. I'm surprised that Lamb is projected as a first rounder, but I'm sure they did their homework.

Teague is gonna be an NBA point guard. I thought he could use another year of college and I also thought he would come back as he doesn't need the money like the others. His brother is already in the NBA and plays for the Atlanta Hawks and has already taken care of the family.

Still, a first round selection is a guarnteed 3 year contract. Can't blame them for takiong the opportunity when it's available.

We have already reloaded with the number 1 class in the nation once again. Looking for a repeat!!

Cal is a great recruiter, if not the best there is. That train will keep on rolling for as long as he coaches.

Nothing sucks like the big orange!!:)

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Third time is charm. I think Cal has mastered it by now. There is too much scrutiny for him to play too loose and fast. He has Bruce Pearl's example.
