Motivation

I always look for short, simple sayings or videos or posters to help motivate me.

Since I'm not motivated by money to do this business, I sometimes "get down" about the entire financial services business... the sleaze-bag agents, the corrupt companies, the arrogant HO people, unethical FMOs and GAs, the lack of respect/recognition/esteem we have, to say nothing about how difficult it can be to make a sale, even a low-commission one.

I try to concentrate on the message that it's all about helping others.

I wonder if we should have a Motivation Forum where we might share what "pumps us up" to do the best we can when we feel lost or tired or just "down?"

Anyway, I thought this was good:

You would just turn the thread into an argument about neo-cons and Christians. It is a good idea, and everyone needs motovation, but most threads turn into worthless information. If we could stay on topic, it's a great idea.

Al, did you graduate second in your class in high school? Did you get a full academic scholarship to the college of your choice? Do your have your Master's degree? Did you excel in sports? Have you ever taught in countries outside of the United States? Are you bi-lingual? Just curious, where did you go to school and what is your level of education(LA community college doesn't count)? You are obviously more educated than everyone else on the forum. Let us know how you became so intelligent.

Before you label someone as uneducated, you should answer these questions honestly for yourself.

Do you know who Kris Kristopherson is? Some people are like him, living life as they want to, not how they have to; He is a Rhode Scholar and he writes songs and plays music.

Oh by the way, "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" is equal to "sometimes Al is just Al".
