New Website...need Opinions Please!

That's a nice site, but I have never been crazy about "John Doe Agency" sites.

I guess I like "Michigan Health Insurance Options" or Lexington Financial Planners" or "Financial Planning Solutions" or whatever.

Just me and maybe not many others.

Ok, so I figured out how to get Google verified. But when I try to google the website it doesn't come up. Any ideas why? And the only thing the website builder program will allow me to do is add meta tags. What meta tags should I add and how will they help?

Thanks so much for all the great info on here...I really appreciate you all!!

I agree with many of the comments made. Overall, it does the job but comes looking a bit amateur. You want your home page to really pop and to have a clear and present call to action. Another real easy value add is to have relevant retirement feeds coming it to a section on your site.

Check out a site that we just built for an agent last week and put yourself in a client's shoes to see which one they might stay on longer.

Anthony Ledet Insurance Agency Inc

Best of luck!

Good looking website! I agree mine looks much more amateur than this one. Probably because it is. :swoon: But, unfortunately, I'm just starting out in the business and price was a HUGE concern in starting this website. At this point, I just want to get my name known and out there. I'll upgrade more and more as I find it useful in bringing in new clients and start making more moola. Any ideas how I can make my current website look not so amateurish??

Step 1 to new site: social bookmarks, directory submission, submit sitemaps.

Step 2: wait.

Step 3: ???

Step 4: Profit!
