No POS?

But, I think the point being made was, "if it is in the best interest of the client to write the cheapest premium when you are in competition and replacing, why would it not be in the best interest of that same client to write the same company with the cheapest premium if no replacement is involved"?

If that is true today it must have been true last year, 5 years ago or 10 years ago. KSKJ and CF have been around for a while.

Cheapest is not always best. If you send a guy to UHL to save him ten bucks a month over any other carrier, your doing him a disservice. Their service sucks and their hold times are unbearable.

Of course the chances of UHL being cheaper than anybody by ten bucks is equivalent to "a snow balls chance in hell"

The old devil might need some long johns.. UHL premier at age 65 MNTU.. $56.26 ... Settlers new Silver Rate .. $66.22:) Smoker $84.49 UHL.. Settlers Silver $100.64

Your comparing premier to settlers silver(standard).
Silver is closer to Premier than Gold.. Both the Silver and Premier have two year look backs.. The Gold has five years.. Most people if they qualify for UHL immediate benefit will qualify at the premier rate.

Of course that doesn't take into consideration Settlers value added benefits.. The covered plan and the free kid benefit... That might be worth $10 per month.. :1biggrin:

Fair enough. Although Silver can take healthy insulin users and UHL would rate that standard. What is the lowest rate insulin carrier on average?

Many agents do. Others write price busters as needed and have other favorite companies. That's the beauty of being independent. Each agent can choose who their own favorite is.

Some choose their favorite based on premiums. Others on commissions or maybe a company convention. Some choose because of a good past experience. Some might choose their favorite because it's a well known name (like TransAmerica or MOO). Some may choose a favorite because they use the other products (term, Med Sups, cancer plans, etc. ). Every agent has their own favorite company and reason for choosing it. But I don't know of too many agents that if their favorite won't beat the price they need to beat wouldn't appreciate having a good one that will.
