Post-Corona, Preparing for Normalcy

Clearly there are innumerable opinions on here about the virus. What I will say is this...

There is ALWAYS a solution if we are willing to find one.

Whether that's face to face, door knocking hybrid approach etc etc. We get to celebrate each other's successes and be a shoulder to cry on through a struggle. This season is one where the resilient will survive and the ones who made excuses will fail.

We are each entitled to our opinions. Unfortunately, there is a ton of trolling and shaming the guys that choose to go to work. Not that I am advocating for any one way to do business right now, but we shouldn't be shaming people and calling them immoral either.

I'm willing to celebrate successes of ANYONE who made it through this crisis (even the guy that blocked me ;) ). At the end of the day we are all in this together.

I choose hope. I choose to assume the best instead of the worst.

P.S. I'm sure keyboard warrior will think this post is about him, so if anyone wants to quote this so he can see it, that would be great.

No dog in this. However, you are keeping it going. with the above.
There are literally dozens of times he mentions EFES where there has been no response... I literally just said that I would root for him to do well during this time. Please go look back and see how many times he mentions us without any response at all and then I would encourage you to rethink your position on this. The ratio is conservatively 10 to 1.

In my own ornery way I was looking for an opportunity to bury the hatchet even though he constantly speaks negatively of EFES.

The world is in a shelter in place for a reason. Well, maybe not the world. I understand Sweden and a few others are not, yet.

I do not believe anyone is 'shaming' the professional that are staying home and enjoying the as earns and renewals they have earned. Or the professionals that are learning telesales as a way to continue business and not endanger the very people 'they care about'. Their character is their character.

Opinions, for the most part, will not endanger anyone. You can see/hear an opinion. A potentially diseased agent not so much.

That is all just my opinion.

This is a wonderful opinion that is thoughtfully considered I am very sure. I have observed the contrary however where folks are claiming moral superiority over others who are choosing to do business with consensual adults.

Civil disagreement is what makes us all better in my opinion, but some have taken this too far. All I am saying is that there is always a solution if an agent is willing to find it. Many are grinding trying to figure out telesales, that is a wonderful thing. Others are going to see people and calling the client from the driveway.

I'm not advocating for one thing over the other. I'm choosing to celebrate the people who are finding solutions instead of excuses.

I understand, and yeah, he keeps it up as well. That is fine for all of you I don't really care. But people put these little B jabs in these post. Kinda takes away from your post. Just annoying. Not a big deal. Just if you are going to fight, Fight.

EFES, honestly I can not remember where half of you guys are. You guys change partners more than a Bangkok Whore when the fleet is in port. Suggestion, take a page from Ben's book. He will take a lot of shots, hit back then back off. If he takes shit personally he does not show it.

I think you guys post some good stuff.

I hope I survive this shelter in place... I've gone from talking to myself, to answering my own questions, and now I am arguing with myself.

:err:psst... don't tell me, but the next time I get in an argument with myself... I'm just not going to speak to me.:wideeyed:

I am enjoying being at home all the time so much...NOT!!!:arghh:

I am openly admitting that this is a decent thread. I think he has a lot to offer when he chooses to. Obviously there is so much more going on than was in that post which is why it got out of hand. I'm a fan of good content, celebrating each other and civil discourse when we disagree. I let what I interpreted as trolling get under my skin for sure.

I'm sure I have a ton of room for growth and I'm very certain I will make more forum mistakes. I can only hope that the people engaging with me seek to do it for the good of the group over their own personal entertainment or axes to grind.

Don't we individuals pay 100% of corporate tax?

Almost . . .

Most folks don't understand how corporations are taxed. Nor do they understand they are just a middleman for collecting and remitting taxes. Payroll taxes, WH takes, sales tax, excise tax, property tax . . . etc.

The profit of a corporation is taxed to the corporation when earned, and then is taxed to the shareholders when distributed as dividends. This creates a double tax.
