Quotit Doesn't Work?

Delay, excuses, accusations and thinking you can control "how I deliver my comment" - what a pitiful and pathetic way to do business.

Since when is the truth a "potshot"? Maybe "thanks for the info" is a little more appropriate than pathetic excuses? Brutal.

All the original info was in the first post (if you go back and read it). Now a week later, you're assuming this is a "serious item". "Geared for supporting our customers..." - laughable!

Not only is Norvax blowing your doors off - you're makin' it easy on them.

I do thank you for the info.

I obviously cant control how you deliver your comment. I didn't say that. Potshot might have been a little much, agreed. I admitted that I didnt monitor the board as closely as I could. This is not our normal support method, and I'm new to the board. If you truly had an issue of your own, and were a customer of ours, I know you would have emailed me through the board or contacted our customer support department rather than rely on a public forum.

You are obviously enjoying yourself. Yet, it is hard to take your comments as being serious, blanketed as they are in broad and not particularly useful shots aimed at my company. Depsite this, I will look into your item and will respond, today.

Support of your existing customers/clients is critical.

What about prospective customers or prospects? If you like growth - it's critical to pay the same level of attention...

While that sounds good on the surface, and I almost agree... I am not sure that I can say that every insurance agent in the country can receive the exact same level of attention from our company than our customers pay us to receive. That would be a tough business model to support.

I agree with you that potential prospects should receive attention. That's why I'm here. Regardless of which category you might be in, prospect or something else entirely, I'm checking your comment out because I'm truly interested in what might be the problem with that site you mentioned.

Just had a call from a fellow agent who tried running quotes on my Quotit link for major med. He keeps getting an error message. I tried, with the same result. Had that issue last week on my Quotit dental link.

We are both using IE 7.0 and Vista.

I can get the links to work in Firefox, but no dice in IE 7.

I have filed a new trouble ticket. Will see what happens, but I am convinced the issue is an incompatabilty with IE.

Bob, thank you for this information. Bill and I are testing this right now. Bill will also be calling you momentarily. - M

We have tried the link you sent us from a few different configurations, cannot re-create the error. Works fine for me with IE 7.0.5730.13. Bill has left you a voicemail. If we had IE incompatibility across the board, we would have been bombarded. There must be something specific that we can track down a little more info. Bill will try to reach you again later, or you can call him at the number he left your vmail. Thanks!! - M

Moonlight, I get a forum database error when I try to send you a private message, and you're not enabled for email. So I'll post this here since I promised we'd look into this today - We have looked at the florida site you mentioned and cannot find a banner ad as you describe. If you could provide the specific web site, or a link to the ad, we will take it from there. I am enabled for email on this forum.
Thank you - m

Bob - when I go into your site using Firefox it's all fine. When I use IE with Vista this is what I get:

Welcome, John! (smile)

I guarantee you Quotit has no incompatibility with IE! It would be pretty difficult to even have a product, much less serve as many agents as we serve, if that were true.
We performing tests to diagnose and correct and will take care of this for Bob and any other agent that may be affected.

Thanks once again for your kind concern, John.

I don't recall the name of the agent/broker, but the banner ad was across the top of the landing page for the Tampa Tribune's website: TBO.com - Tampa Bay Online.
