Quotit Doesn't Work?

There are clearly many more prospects out there than can ever be given our full sales and marketing message. If you try to sell every prospect, you'll waste time, money and effort. And, even more importantly, you'll waste the "opportunity cost" of not getting to those prospects who are most likely to buy, Now.

I agree 100% (high Probability Selling),

First, traditional sales training teaches that just about everyone who might need what we sell is a prospect who can and should be sold. High Probability Selling takes a little sharper look at reality. There are clearly many more prospects out there than can ever be given our full sales and marketing message. If you try to sell every prospect, you'll waste time, money and effort. And, even more importantly, you'll waste the "opportunity cost" of not getting to those prospects who are most likely to buy, Now.

More importantly, you spend emotional energy and start second guessing yourself.

ROI is always there which is why I enjoy working volume - to find the people who value what I have to offer.

If someone sees no value in me as their agent, I rarely see any value in them as a client.

My favorite so far:

Humana declined a prospect and when I called her, she said, ..... "I knew I shouldn't of told them about all those pills the Doctor prescribed.... I didn't even take 'em..... let's try that Blue Cross plan and I'm not going to tell them anything."

Gotta love this business.....

PS: For those of you wondering..... I gave her Somcarco's name/number.

Soaring -

Don't take Mark, or me for that matter, too seriously.

He is pulling your leg.

Coventry doesn't have an online app . . . and probably never will.

Why would I take the time to send you a private message? I would think that you would want to send ME a private message? If I were you, I would be chasing me down!

All the info I have is in the initial post. At Tampa Bay Online (tbo.com) I saw a banner ad. I clicked on it. It took me to the person's site. At the bottom it said "Quotit". I put my info in. It did NOT take me to the next screen. I used Firefox 3 for a browser.

"or if it even is a Quotit product"?

Yup, that's it -- I'm an ***. It wasn't you.

Sorry for the delay on this response, I do not monitor this board as closely as I could be. We are geared for support of our customers, not the outside world taking potshots based on clicks on banner ads. I didn't say you were an ***, you did. I'm just trying to get some details.

Your information above is helpful and we will track it down.

As for the other company "blowing our doors off" I guess there's some debate about that. We hear the exact opposite about 2-3 times as often. BUT we aren't perfect. We care very much about comments like these, especially when they are delivered productively and specifically.

You could be bashing just to bash. Yet, since you've delivered some details now, I'll assume this is a serious item and I will spend the time to track it down. And I will get back to you.

Delay, excuses, accusations and thinking you can control "how I deliver my comment" - what a pitiful and pathetic way to do business.

Since when is the truth a "potshot"? Maybe "thanks for the info" is a little more appropriate than pathetic excuses? Brutal.

All the original info was in the first post (if you go back and read it). Now a week later, you're assuming this is a "serious item". "Geared for supporting our customers..." - laughable!

Not only is Norvax blowing your doors off - you're makin' it easy on them.

I have removed the inappropriate remark, thank you for your bluntness.

I apologize to Mark.

Sincerely,
Frank Loughry

Apology accepted. My wife would probably have agreed with you on the "pompous" comment which I missed.

As I've said before, competitors can be respectful and can co-exist.

Most agents are smart enough to NOT make decisions based on generic comments like "this company rocks" or "this company doesnt work" or "this company's leader is evil and profit-motivated",etc etc ...

Insults/generalities aside, I know that most agents will consider all reasonable options before they make a choice with their hard-won technology dollar. They should get a demonstration of the products, pricing, and consider how those services would fit into their business, then make their choice. And if they don't like what they have, they should be free to change their mind and try another company.
