Senior Life Insurance Company Info

I could say my pers. is 100%, 75%, 50%, or 25%. No matter what firgure I post, some will say that's too good to be believeable or some would say that's horrible. No matter what figure I posted you wouldn't know if it was inflated or deflated, so what does it matter? Why do some agents piss away a lot of time asking for my pers.?

I'm trying to figure out why this information is important.

If I make $150K a year with 60% persistency, well it's still $150K. Aside from possibly having to work harder to earn this versus someone with an 85% persistency, it's still $150K.

Using a product that is priced much higher than other similar plans (and knowing the difference) is another issue.

Beacuse you deflect from the question. Instead of just saying that you did not want to post it you went around the block with dumbass excuses.

But, you brought the question on yourself by promoting telemarketing and claiming that your persistancy was just as good as face to face agents. Then when asked what that persistacy is you pretended to not know or pretended that you don't know how to figure it.

If you are being truthful now in not knowing then how could you have previously claimed that it was just as good as face to face?

^^This is why you get questioned.

Other than the obvious benefit that you mention, it is far more important to the company than the agent since a company makes 0% the first couple of years.. That is the reason a lot of companies have started stretching out persistency requirements beyond 13 months.

That and agents churning their own book of business.

Some term companies are now letting you rewrite their term for full comp.

Your opinion means nothing since you won't even come close to 150k over 3 years...

JD, I know you sometimes put the cart before the horse in your zeal to discredit me. Relax, I'm not a threat to you. But you and a few others should really go back and read post #149.

You used the term "dumbass excuses". A reasonably intelligent person can read post #149 and understand what is being said....tele-sales pers. probably 5% lower than face 2 face. However, a dumbass would say I was making "dumbass excuses".:D

I don't have any reason to discredit you. You are not a threat to me in any form or fashion. Nor do I even know of anyone that you would be a threat to. You have an inflated idea of your own importance.

Besides, even if I wanted to discredit you I could not possibly do as good a job of that as you do yourself.

But, since you decided to make this personal I will point out that instead of saying it was dumbass excuses I should have just said that you are not telling the truth. First you claim that persistancy is just as good being a telemarketer, {or close to as good}, then when questioned on what that persistancy is you claim to not only not know what it is but you also claim to not know how persistancy is figured.

So, when recruiting you tell a story but when asked to back up your recruitin story instead of just saying that you did not want to disclose it you simply lied about it.

I know people in Ky. have a bad rep about brain power, but you really do not comprehend too well. I said pers. for tele-sales probably 5% less than face 2 face sales. How can you not understand that?
