JD, pertaining to the bold above, surely you remember from your LH days they used a formula that was no way similar.
I for one have said I have very little interest in posting any pers. % unless I'm using the same formula as the requester (Matt)'s co. uses.
At LH they figured persistancy the same way everyonhe else does. Thjey might use different numbers for marketing purposes but for the agents and expected persistancy it is the percentage of policies still on the books that were written in the 13th prior month.
They did have a 7 month persistancy that was figured the same way.
It's an industry standard and that's waht anyone is asking about whjen they ask.
