Senior Life Insurance Company Info

Are you saying that Equitable does not have a time for which there coverage would be offered at level?

Example: W/in 12 months graded
W/in 24 months or longer level

This is good to know because I do not know any companies that will extend level coverage to someone diagnoses with COPD/Emphysema within last 12 months.

Thanks.

The COPD question is :

1. In the past 2 years have you had or have you taken medication for:
a) Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or emphysema and smoked cigarettes?

To be graded they have to have done both in the past 2 years so if they have current treatment for COPD but have not smoked in the past two years, they qualify for immediate DB.

You met someone with COPD that quit smoking?

Me... .........

I don't do much final expense.

Whats the relationship between Senior Life & Lincoln Heritage currently and/or in the past?

They keep getting talked about as if their is a relationship.

Also how is Golden Memorial related to either of them?

I talked to a recruiter for Golden Memorial several years ago. I received a call from a Senior Life recruiter recently, saying they had the resume I posted. I never posted any resume. Anyway the lady sounded like the same one I talked to from Golden memorial several years ago. She said she was not. I feel like she is.

Is there a relationship between Golden Memorial and Senior Life or Lincoln Heritage?

I will say if they are dishonest in their recruiting, It is a bad sign to me.

I also notice that if Senior Life drops your appointment with them you are not entitled to receive renewals if they are under $200 a month.

So if its $190 a month, you lose $2,280 in income per year. Is this the way others understand the Senior Life independent agent contract?

Assurity's question on COPD is within last 12 months.

I wrote a smoker diagnosed with COPD within last 18 months (maybe 14) level with Assurity. I was floored that they allowed smoker with COPD but after the phone interview it was referred to u/w and did take 3 weeks to issue but he was approved simplified level. If you don't have one, and want to check on an Assurity contract you might want to talk to Newby.

I'm sure that's right. With LH it's $250 per month. When your renewals get below $250/mo they keep them. It doesn't roll over to the next month when it would make over $250, they keep it.

Now, Greg says that your direct upline gets it. I don't know if that's the case or not. I do know the agent doesn't get it.

What si really bad with having a monthly minimum requirement si if you write business on modes other that Monthly modes.. When I wrote med supps, 80%+ were annual premiums. You could have a month where the comission dropped below the payment of commission would stop and the next month it be $1000.000 due to some annuals coming due and you would not be paid.

I will never ever sign another contract that has a monthly minimum requirement. If you are getting 8% renewal and they terminate you when it drops to $240.00 you are leaving $36K annualized premium on the table. That almost amounts to legal robbery. Most companies will stop paying commission when they drop below $200.00 or so per year.

JD. Most contracts say your commissions are reduced by the amount paid to your down line so if they no longer receive them, then you would get them.

The lady I spoke with at LH said they keep it when it's below $250 for a month. The only person I've ever heard that the upline gets it is Greg.

It says that as though it matters. When I told the lady at LH that is was "legal stealing" she said "yep". Then realizing what she said she tried to change it by saying, "wait a minute, I didn't understand what you said". Her morals made her make the first reply. Her job made her try to correct it.

I had an attorney look at the contract. he said it was a stetch to make it read the way LH says it. The problem is that suing them for it would cost you more than the renewals even if you won. You think LH might know that?

When I was with LH EVERYTHING from the terminated agent rolled up to the next mgr....renewals, pay-thru, any lead balances the ex-agent owed, any advances that did not pay back that advance, etc. You received the good and the bad.

I had my butt burnt enough to know not to recruit just anyone. Kinda like playing poker...know when to fold em, know when to hold-em. Quality beats quantity everytime, just like hungry effort will beat lazy talent everytime.

Flat out one of the best final expense companies in the USA!!!!
When comparing Sr Life against another company please make sure to compare our total package.

When an agent is getting renewals he has none of that bad stuff going on. They take that out of the renewals before they apy the renewals.

That is not a valid argument for stealing money. You got taken advantage of somewhere else so you take it out on mthe agents that did produce and pay their bills.
