Senior Life Insurance

Some companies don't even pay renewals from what I understand. I need to check into which ones do and don't.

They (SL) tell me I can get plenty of TV leads for $29 and I can sell over the phone in multiple states (while working in the field as well) if I choose. Their renewals seem low however at only 2 1/2 percent?

If you PREFER to sell over the phone, Greg would be your guy. If you prefer to sell in person, I would never take that deal in a million years.

Your 10 year commissions (first year and renewals) will be 90 to 110% higher than that with better companies that offer lower rates (=easier to sell), and better leads at lower cost. Your persistency will be better also on face to face sales.

If you choose to sell the SL by phone, we need inventory in Indiana and Kentucky.

I welcome the chance to replace my business....

Welcome to the forum and hopefully you're tough-skinned. I am an RD for SL. You are more than welcome to ask me anything or call me with questions. You already spoke to someone so you'd have to stay with them and every group works differently. But I would still be happy to answer your questions.

And I'm definitely not a "southern"-boy. And I do just fine with them.

Mr. Newby,

I was thinking of selling in person as I thought a thin girl with healthy bazooms would go over better with some prospects face to face. :)

Seriously (OK, I was serious), what about a group called Equita? They work with many carriers but only offered 85 percent. I forgot to ask what their renewal percentage is.

They are not free to work for anyone they please?

I think what he meant was that you have to stick with the SR life manager you have and can't move to another group within SR Life. You still are independent as far as working with other companies as long as you don't use their leads for other co's.

Just another reason I stay Independent. Can you imagine being told to do this or that at such and such time.

No what TD is saying is that she can't work for him because she is already talking with someone else and apparently the conversation has progressed far enough for her to make a decision. It wouldn't be right for TD to offer her a contract now and probably bad karma for him to even do so.

It would be like signing up for Amway and then your brother-in-law says "hey, sign up with me" when he should of already asked you first. Would be bad karma for you and him and just not right I guess.

Anyway if you don't work for a week you'll just blow through $450 worth of leads I guess.
