Senior Life + Technology . . .

And by the way, it's the product with SL that is not competitive. Well, their Super Duper rate (or whatever they call it) is very competitive. Agents just don't like selling it because SL slashes the commission on it too much. It's not worth selling.

Yea - that's why I titled the thread: Senior Life + Technology . . .

SL rates may be higher. No MIB, No RX, No POS, Same Day Issue, Same Day Pay and a GI that can be written on someone practically in the ground . . .

Ah, so it's all about what is easier for you. I see.

I just stated reasons why SL prices their coverage higher than some. They take on more risk with less underwriting. That is their choice. It's their business right?

Agents don't have to sell it and consumers don't have to buy it. But - they both do. That doesn't make it wrong . . .

An "Independent Agent" has options to offer clients. In cases like SL or LH - these Agents seem to focus on their specific Carrier. Not so much being "captive", because they really aren't. They stay focused and sell what they love.

And most of the agents with SL and LH don't really know the difference and that they have a choice what they sell. You do though.

I see this as you only wanting to use one or two companies due to having to train the agents. However, if you focus on doing the right thing by your client and get your agents to do the same, the training won't be so bad.

Does this mean you have to pick the lowest priced companies? No, but you sure as hell don't have to try and peddle one of the highest priced companies either.

It's ALWAYS about him. Don't you know that yet?

That's why nothing he ever does work.

I get what you are saying Todd. Most captive Call Centers only use one or two companies. It helps with training, product knowledge and streamlines the sales and closing process . . .

In our scenario - our agents aren't "independent" - they sell what we sell. New agents use this specific Carrier because of that Carrier's system. It walks them through the script, the underwriting, chooses the qualifying plan and completes the Application - all in one easy to learn process.

When the Agents prove themselves and understand the underwriting better - if they choose to, they can sell into different products that have lower rates and higher commissions. These Carrier's rates always show up in the Top 10 / 15 in the FEX Quoter - especially < 50 . . .

Most of them don’t know the difference, seriously?

Come on, let’s stop making excuses for everyone. First it was Dave calling a clearly communicated contract a scam and now you saying this?

The reason sl and lh recruit better than anyone here is because they sell a dream of building a team rather than a dream of selling insurance. People don’t go with lh or sl bc they have the best product, they go there bc thy can recruit almost immediately.

And truth be told, lh and sl have created more 6, 7, and 8 figure earners than anyone on here.

I like you Rirwin . . .
