Transamerica Issues

Trans shows cash and loan values on the agent site . They also allow you to get forms sent out without calling the worst customer service in history . Many clients call to see what they can borrow . If terminated I lose being able to see that and would be on hold 2 days
 
That and the fact they take DE are the only two reasons I keep them in my quiver.



Just last week wrote one (electronic app) and was approved in less than 4 days.

Trust me getting reappointed with them should be easy as they are losing agents right and left. I'd call them up (wait for ever) then express that you would like to use them again. Shouldn't be too difficult.

So where are guys writing COPD T DE ?

Crazy heart meds DE?

Anastrozole DE ?

I have pretty decent luck with DE SS billing with them.

Their E App is way too long,you need a really strong connection which is tough if your working rural like I am. I’ve walked away from a couple because of this.....it can be impossible.

I’ve had several that came back with an instant approval before I left the clients residence.

I would never attempt that scary 20+ page paper app.

Warning on the information that is posted there. Just had a case where someone wanted to borrow from their cash. I looked it up for them and the amount posted on my portal was not the amount available. I proceeded to help the customer screw themselves based off wrong information. Even called CS and held the line to be told that agents make that mistake all the time and that they need to call Trans to find out those exact amounts because they differ from what's on the portal. Really! :skeptical: Then why post it!!!:mad:

That's a true one. When you pull that bugger out you might as well ask for a cup of coffee and a pillow. Wrote a young client with children recently on an late evening appointment. Might as well have brought my sleeping bag... it was looooooong.

But it made pay dirt. :)

Trinity won’t take copd level plus their very strict on only 20% of your business can be de . I see snl doesn’t want more than 25% of your business de. I thought the whole blowup on Trans new underwriting a yr ago was that they were now very strict on pain meds and people who take pain meds monthly would be graded . Is that not true? Hell a large % of our people on pain meds. The only other de social security option for copd is prosperity . There customer service is also the pits . Called them today and was on hold for 30 mins and got disconnected . Foresters 35 min wait . Almost all co’s suffering .

I'll have to take you at your word with Trinity, I don't use them.

You have to be creative or go GI. I'm not the agent that wants 20 companies to do business. I'm looking for ways to trim down the number of companies I use, not to expand them. Too much of a hassle, and I guess for me too much work.

As far as crappy customer service, your spot on. I don't see that changing in the near future.
 
You only need a few co’s TRINITY awesome prices plus great underwriting(takes heavy heart issues,Afib,Insulin plus neuropathy , takes mild inhalers for non copd), cons are phone interview can be pia asking questions.RNA( no HT/WT, Heavy heart meds,insulin plus neuropathy and great fast E-App with instant decision, Am Am ( awesome e-app for instant decision and the best agent portal around plus great customer service . Allows agent to make the changes on most things) . Accendo ( easy app plus copd and many other things and no ht/wt). Prosperity ( De for copd and other junk for de ). Finally gtl for almost GI and good prices . Great western for all real GI as takes direct express and has industry best 9 monthl chargeback for death . Maybe throw a standard life or life shield for true price busting . 6-8 co’s for fe .Most of the co’s i listed true ss billing . Oh even have Trans in case of copd de. You use 2-4 of those most of the time .States with Kikj good for many underwriting issues and great prices. Even had a moo or foresters for kids whole life.
