Underwriting Tool- Free to try out

Only when I am mad...sometimes my master forgets to feed me. I leave him a present at the foot of the bed so he steps on it during his nightly bathroom runs. He has a bad prostate.

I was thinking about writing my autobiography but you just gave always all the best parts.

Hard to justify any UW tool that is over $25 a month, no matter how good it is. BPP is just way overpriced in my opinion. When you have 4 or 5 companies in your bag, you get to learn the UW over time. At that point you don't even really need the tool except for the occasional situations. BPP might be the best thing since sliced bread, but no way it's worth $50+ a month.

I understand that you're biased. That's the reason you have written a tome attempting to justify that price. I also understand that you want to pocket as much money as you can. Nothing wrong with that I suppose. But at some point it's just gouging.

Best of luck with the new project!

I did see a question about BPP vs the new fexsapp.com, so I'll answer that. To give clarification for those who may be in the thread, the main difference between these two tools (I made BPP) is going to be accuracy.

BPP asks you to put in medications and conditions and you can short-circuit the process by omitting certain pieces of information at any point. You're not required to enter medications or conditions. You can leave medication dosages blank too. BPP's accuracy comes down to its ability to understand the relationships between conditions (like COPD is a respiratory disorder) and its ability to process medications (generics, med combos, implied medications, etc).

Using the new tool that was created and presented at the top of this thread, you're not entering in any medications and it's a different user experience.

Obviously, more information usually means more accurate results. BPP is more like a calculator and this new tool is like a digitized cheat sheet – both will have their uses. While I'm definitely biased (and don't know why an agent wouldn't just omit medications from a BPP case if they're not interested in processing the medications...especially since BPP does a lot more than just let you enter medications and conditions), I think that the biggest factors come down to pricing model and accuracy ...and privacy. fexsapp.com was down when I was checking the privacy policy, but I can say without any uncertainty the BPP does not sell data, does not use data for recruiting purposes, or disclose agents on the system for non BPP purposes (corresponds to section 9 of the BestPlanPro Privacy Policy).

Hope that clears things up for those who are a bit confused about the difference between the tools.

I would agree to all of that. The FexSapp is like a digital version of a cheat sheet. It's a step up from a cheat sheet as far as quick and easy to use. But on RX's the knock out lists are just PDF's that are easy to click to and look at not part of the program. It's not as detailed as BBP.

The advantage of FexSapp is just it's simplicity and agencies can provide it to their agents at a pretty low cost. Or an agent can buy it at a low cost. There is no data-mining or recruiting from the program. Dennis that owns it does not recruit agents and he certainly wouldn't sell or give info to me or anyone else. He's just a guy that created a better cheat-sheet.

One of our FexContracting agents has created a digital version of our cheat sheet. He did this as his own project and I have no ownership in his venture but I think he did a very cool job with it. It's quicker to use on the fly than other software I have tried out once you get past a little learning curve.

He purposely keep it simple to use by not having the RX info built into it. It has links built in to the RX lists for companies that have those. But it's built to screen by the app questions, height/weight charts, age, etc. It mainly works off of check boxes with very little input needed to get your answer you are seeking.

The other thing that is pretty cool on it is how he charges for it once you are out of your free trial period. He charges per use. When he first told me that I told him agents are cheap and they won't pay per use. But once I got looking at it and thinking about it I think it makes perfect sense. Because once an agent is more experienced he won't need something like this very often. There is no point subscribing to a $25 monthly subscription when you might only used it for 5 or 6 cases per month.

The other great thing is if you do pay for it he has you pay through PayPal. I preach to agents every day to NEVER give your credit card info to lead vendors or other vendors that you do not know personally. I know Dennis and he's a solid guy. But you don't know him. So paying him through PayPal is 10,000% safer than giving out your card number to someone you don't know.

Here is the video to learn how it works: http://www.fexsapp.com/introvideo.mp4

And here is the link to try it free for 25 uses with no obligation: When you register just put "FEX25" as the IMO/Agency. http://www.fexsapp.com/http://www.fexsapp.com/

You do not have to be under the FexContracting agency to use this (but feel welcome to give us a call if you are looking for a good one.) Currently the companies he has loaded in are the companies that FexContracting sells and they are all current with their recent changes. But Dennis will gladly add other companies in at your request.

Try it out and give him some feedback. I think he did a good job.
The links are not working for me..

The links are not working for me..

I think it is due to in NOT being a secure site. I have Cox for internet service and it won't go straight to it. It will pull up another page and I can see fexsapp.com on there. I click on that and it takes me there.

This is the message I am getting:
Hmmm… can't reach this page
www.fexsapp.com's server IP address could not be found.
However, I did a Google search for fexsapp and then the link on Google worked..
