Underwriting Tool- Free to try out

You could have done that in a PM....and I'm not worried about you going after my agents. Most are way too smart to go with a captive company.

If I had sent that info in a PM then a lot of people would have been left out of receiving the correct info. By putting the correction up here everyone would know the correct info. Makes sense doesn't it?

And we're not captive. I have full time and part time people on my team.. I even have a P&C agent on my team who writes 1-3 apps per month cross selling Legacy to her book of business when she feels like it.

You really shouldn't post info up here that is incorrect. Makes you look bad.

Yes, in order to get all the so-called "perks" that SL has, you need to be captive. So, if an agent isn't captive with SL, then half of that stuff goes out the window.

So, when you talk about them, you always talk about ALL the perks.....therefore, you're talking captive every time you mention them.

Its nice that it lists everything, but seems very cumbersome in filling it out, going down the list to say no no no no no no no

Downs
Downs prior to age 25

These two items stick out to me- do any carriers actually ask if Down's Syndrome started after age 25?

No Todd you're wrong. Even if an agent had to be captive to get those perks so what? It's far superior to anything you or your carriers can offer agents. But agents can get quite a few perks and not be required to be captive.

Contact me and let's get Sr Life added as another one of your carriers. Our super-preferred might be the best rate you could offer someone who qualifies such as. the example below:

COMPARE US TO OTHERS!

Monthly premium comparison is based on $10k face-value for a 65 year old female non-smoker.

_She takes insulin (started when she was 5 years old)

_She takes Lisinopril for HBP

_She takes Simvastatin for cholesterol

_She takes Trazadone for depression

_She takes Furosemide for fluid in her ankles and feet.

Ultimate Preferred---$34.31

Super-Preferred---$38.12

Can You Beat This Rate?

If you need a PRICE BUSTER this is it!

To get contracted (takes only 24 hours to get your agent #) call Greg @ 252-292-3350 anytime

from 9am est – 8pm est Mon thru Sat!

If you don't have a carrier that can offer a better rate than above then you should get contracted with me. After all you're always saying to do the right thing and get your client the cheapest premium.

Who is in your bag that can beat the rate for this example? There's probably a few but not many. Do you have any that can beat this rate for this lady above? If not call me.

Not Sr Life. Down's Syndrome is GI no matter what their age is. The GI starts at age 0 and goes to 85.

Downs starting after age 25? Prior to age 25? Down's Syndrome is something a person is born with, you don't develop it later in life. It's rather weird that an underwriter would phrase a question that way.

This must be from the free underwriting tool discussed earlier in this thread?

That is what I was confused about as well, mind you, I have no skin in the game, just wasn't sure if some carriers actually asked this question.

Some companies will accept downs if the person is over 25 years of age. That would be what the question refers to, not when it started.

Ahh ok, my mistake then, it just seemed odd. I realized there was some bickering and trolling going on then I posted that- so much for avoiding the bs lol

No problem.. You will never know if you don't ask. The forum is like panning for gold.. You have to find the nuggets among the gravel.. and, every pan will have gravel but they don't all have gold.
