What color shirt?

I get in 85% of the houses that answer so my methods work for me . So if you want people to know your a salesman why not say " miss smith you filled out this little card to buy some life insurance. Takes 3 mins and I'll be out of your hair quicker than the brush went thru your beautiful hair this am ". On the phone why use "state regulated " bs and tell them the appt's to sell them life. Reason is you'd get few appt's . Gents theirs a lot of ways to skin a cat
I don't say "You filled out the card to buy some insurance" because that si not why she filled out the card. The card states that she is filling it to receive information and that is what I am there to provide (with the hopes that once she has the information she will buy insurance)

"You filled out this card for information on burial insurance ".that statements gets you 1/2 the appts of " You filled out that little yellow card for information on state regulated burial benefits your eligible for" . Again what 90% of getting an appt is about is the way your words flow and your ability to say phrases with excitement . Take 2 guys with the exact same script and you'll get vastly different results on % of appts set depending on the way their words flow.

No matter how you "flow" it, she did not fill out the card to "buy" insurance based on the information on the card.

In my above statement i never mentioned "buying " ins . I mentioned information . Again Your ability to connect with someone in 20 seconds determines wether you get the appt . Rouse you ever called 20-30 leads for appts or do you 100% door knock all your leads?

You said "why not say " miss smith you filled out this little card to buy some life insurance. " thus my response.
In answer to your question, I have never called leads for an appointment. I have cold called for appointments but didn't like doing it. I would rather meet people face to face when cold calling or working leads.. Of course, I haven't been doing much of of either lately. Going to knock some doors tomorrow.

I would suggest blues. I have two types at the moment. This type, and a pinpoint oxford blue. They can be worn with several different color of pants. I prefer oxfords as the collars keep their shape. :)

Blue is strong business color, I think conservative colors make a simple yet forceful statement of your purpose.

I might add, that I also prefer pleated pants, which also help bring more of a business tone to my dress.

I like the logo. Clean and not insurancey. Branding.

I always wear branded shirts, polo or button down. Go with whatever color scheme you want your brand to be. Mine is maroon, silver, & black. Many variances of the three.

Caveat, I've never done a cold call in my life. All my appointments are expecting me.

Yeah, my preference is not to be seen as some social organization, but as a professional of the trade.

I will also note that I steam (used to iron) my shirts before gong out in field. Wrinkles say more than folks admit.

Additionally, seniors enjoy a pair of polished shoes that have a shine.
