Must be something...they had an Agency VP running leads in this area. They have no agents around central Illinois and are looking to recruit. Thanks for the information, they also want $275 to come on board....

Things might have changed but when they tried to recruit me they wanted me to sit with all of my clients - do not like the online model. I believe Pinnacle is one of their largest agencies: The Pinnacle Benefits Group

If there are no agents running leads then that should tell you something.

Oh yea, the $275 had to be by credit card....no checks or cash....hmmmm
They have an add in the paper today to call....
Gonna have to pass...

Aside from appointment fees there's on reason to give any agency a dime. They earn their money off overrides. If they can't, they should close down shop.

Used to be a captive-only shop, going after kids out of school or people who lost their jobs, to be agents. Now they have an independent side also, but not sure how well they have been doing. They are owned by same company as World Insurance, I believe. Momentum seems to be shifting from World back to American Republic. World losing steam, AR getting competitive I hear. Probably worth keeping an eye open on both of them.

World is owned by American Enterprise that owns American Republic and also the former CGI block of major med business.
