This is one environmental disaster of tens of thousands.
First it is man caused. Second we were told right after it happened that this area would not be habitable for hundreds of years if not thousands. Third, it is "a major" if not "the" environmental disaster of the age. It would rank among WW1 and WW2 for "man made" disasters dwarfing all other "man made" disasters.
Using facts, and looking at the outcomes, seems like we've moved passed all these in just about 100 years and less, yet somehow there are those who tell use we have only 12 years left.
I agree with you, the current education system has burned through our country like a raging fire leaving the minds of our children in a waste land, where they think they are so important as to be able to change nature itself and destroy the planet, or worse yet, will die soon and are left hopeless. (No wonder suicide rates are so high. We just had a 10 yr old commit suicide in a community not far from us. Don't get me started on higher education.)
Am I missing the obvious here... cause someone is.
And to the point... can you imagine the P&C losses for WWII... and yet... Europe and Asia are alive and well???
The vapor of life is brief and no man dips his finger in a bucket of water and leaves an impression.
