Did some door knocking yesterday... and then ate some bacon

My losses vary. I've had 2,1 and 1/2 pound days. The only days I didn't lose was when I cheated. I'm glad that you posted about eating chicken and other things. I misunderstood DT. I was getting sick of eating Bacon. I've eaten another 1/3 of that chicken and some raw broccoli and cauliflower today. I prefer them with veggie dip, but that would defeat the purpose. I've been drinking 1/2 a glass of 2% milk with each meal. I'm down to 194.8, my lowest weight in 10 years.

Won't be long until my dear old 87 year old mom stops telling me that I look like I'm preganant, or stops saying, "you haven't had that baby yet?". All of my weight's in my belly.

You'd be better ditching the 2% milk and adding the veggie dip. FAT is your FRIEND.

Well I've got veggie dip in the fridge, oh yeah.

Would I be better off drinking whole milk?
Whole milk would be much better than skim or any reduced fat milk. I'd limit it to one glass/day, however, because milk dose have lactose, which is sugar.

I use heavy whipping cream in my coffee. Not whipped cream - heavy whipping cream.

When you hear all of your life that fat is bad for you, it's hard to get used to it being good for you.

Does that mean that I can only eat fat girls?

Good thing I don't drink milk, or it would be coming out my nose on that one lol.

It will take a generation or more to undo the government sponsored propaganda on fat that has been fed to the American public for the last 40 years.

I bought some of that, but it tastes pretty bad. I have a "sugar free" powder creamer I like. But it's really not sugar free. That's my only cheat.

What kind of dip can we eat?

What about queso? I love queso. It's the chips that are bad, right? Is there some replacement?

You thought the heavy whipping cream tasted bad? Maybe you bought a bad container. I use no sugar nor artificial sweeteners in my coffee. That powdered creamer probably has corn solids or even high fructose corn syrup. If so, then I'd suggest you wean yourself from it eventually.

A substitute for chips would be fried pork rinds.

Queso? I don't know. I love queso too. It is kind of an artificial cheese, is it not? Cheese is fine on a keto diet, though any dairy can inhibit and slow weight loss if weight loss is your goal. I never looked at the ingredients in queso because I do not eat it often and I do not want to give it up completely lol.

If weight loss is your goal, then fatty meats are best, followed by non-starchy veggies, especially leafy greens like romaine and spinach and spring mix salads.

If weight loss is your goal, best to cut all the junk and treats out until you reach your goal, and even then, add the treats and junk in slowly and judiciously.

FWIW, I do not always follow my own advice. I have learned however, that once I get back to my goal weight, one doughnut will never be just one doughnut, and so there are some foods I cannot eat because they will trigger my sugar addiction. Sucks, but it is what it is.
