Smooth sailing. I didnt think It would be bad, and it's not.

Next year though...who knows. Coming up on only 4th AEP it's clear to me no one's safe every year with a guaranteed "easier" year, and thats fine.

Last year was harder than this year for me. Simpy bc of plan # changes.

Hope everyone in Miltons path stays safe. Looks like a nasty one on radar.

Congrats on making it to year 4! most agents don't make it this far!

it'll get a little busier with every passing year until to get to a point to where either hit an economic ceiling where you simply cannot handle any more clients by yourself, or you don't want any more.

At which point AEP and your business will be in "maintenance mode" where you basically go sideways with your business, and spend your free time with other ventures, or you expand and grow your business into an actual agency by hiring staff and accumulating more customers.

There is no wrong answer here. Its a matter of preference.

Ty! Been building at a great pace. Now I'm wanting to take it easy this AEP, not setting any high goals, only going with the flow. The last 3 were almost too busy for me at my mid life age. lol I need to take it slow this AEP or I'd get burned out. lol It's been a whirlwind the past 3 years.

I appreciate the nice words, Axe. The foundation is established now and have taken on agents and building out that way. The overrides are building enough for me to notice it now and it's working out (knock on wood that overrides stick around), even if it is slow going on that front. Getting regular referrals to keep me happy, and doing more and more FE/LI

I love the free time idea...I definitely take that one to heart.

Super busy, and I am just dealing with clients who have either called in or filled retire flo as well as referrals

And my VA has been a huge blessing

I have nearly 200 clients on radar to call after this and hopefully I can start to take leads by the week after the 15th,

But many people are affected, I have seen a lot of crazy stuff, some plans discontinued, but also increased copays, surgery copays $400 $450 even seen $1000

Lots of people on MA plan going from $40 to $50 copay for tier 3 to 25% huge difrence with many meds like Xarelto and other $600 drugs
The 10 drugs covered under Part D selected for negotiation for initial price applicability year" 2026"are:
Eliquis, Jardiance, Xarelto, Januvia, Farxiga, Entresto, Enbrel, Imbruvica, Stelara, and Fiasp.*Millions of Medicare enrollees take one or more of these drugs to treatserious conditions such asblood clots, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, heart failure, autoimmune diseases, and chronickidney disease

Ironically next year when they lower the price for drugs like Eliquis consumers with a fixed tier 3 copayment part D plan may end up paying more OOP vs 2024 because the dollar amount of the 25% that the insurance is paying that counts towards 2000 Troop will be less.

I'm guessing after the few companies that have fixed copays lose their ass this year all will be 25%. Either those plan design people were drunk or high or got the go ahead to take huge losses to buy business for 2025. Maybe didn't understand the part about deductible and 25% still going towards 2000.00 max?

I don't understand why UHC dropped their dental on the MA plan- something that is making people upset when they see it in their ANOC but they spent the money on making their drug plan awesome for a small percentage of members and even those members who it is awesome for don't understand that it is.

I don't think the people at UHC are dumb so maybe they worked a deal with manufacturer rebates that allows them to do this and still make a profit.Who knows?
