I created a (FE agents only group) on Facebook

I still don't understand what is better about facebook than here ?

Was it that there is no recruiting ? negativity ?

There is moderation by the admin. of the group ?

Any example threads where there in more enlightenment over there ?

A lot of Millennials find it easier to use Plus there is a great number of agents that don't even know about this forum.

Also you can do live videos post pictures fairly easily.

It's for final expense agents only there's no recruiting so people can just relax.

No Idea, I am a Life Insurance agent so I don't qualify for any of the groups.

Now, ask me how to go into a home, F2F or by phone, write a 62 year old lady. Then write her kids, grandchildren, sisters and brothers in law and maybe even mother. That I can do.

Edit: I am just being snarky. I have not tried to join any insurance FB groups.

I have joined several but overall, I have not found the FB to be as informative the forum other than the live videos.

Yes I agree there is an abundance of knowledge on the Forum but you have to filter through all the garbage posts in between all the good ones.
The Facebook one is much more direct I think but probably just a matter of opinion from the user.

The videos are a great tool.

The biggest reason is a lot of people don't even know about this forum but they do know Facebook

He had kicked me out before we got rid of him for promoting his leads in the group (which is why he was removed. Non producers are welcome as long as they respect that they can't use the group as a forum to promote themselves and that the group isn't really for them)

But honestly a bunch of us in the fe Facebook world got tossed. Some were EFES guys, but some we part timers with other organizations. All the ones I know personally were good people. It's why I assumed they closed it down.

For me, it's because when I come here I feel like I'm crashing someone else's party. You guys have your own thing going on and that's great, but it isn't what I'm looking for. Maybe if I made the effort to remember to come here every day and check new posts instead of only swinging by when Jose tells me he posted something it would feel different, but for me the forum has me feeling like an outsider butting into a conversation amongst long time friends. It's a lot more commitment to work my way into that setting for something that is, for me, purely social.

If I had real questions or wanted to learn something specific I would, and have, come here to ask. But to just hang out with other fe agents Facebook is just easier and more casual.

Somewhere along the line I got lost... (Happens to old people.). .. What groups are kicking people out? For what reasons? What group was closed down?
