North Stars top agent didnt write 300k, she placed 300k.

300k X 70% Commission X 80% Retention = $168,000 net income

Heck, at a 50% retention, you'd have your contract terminated, but you'd clear 100k.

AmAm only 1099's on earned commission so her 1099 doest reflect any of her advanced balance.

Securus - Now I'm seeing the owners produce everyday and lead from the front??? I don't even think the owners or at least most even have any personal carrier contracts and have been told one doesn't have and can't get a life license???? Cardone? The few agents I've talked to say they have yet to even log into the platform and apparently it is the same thing anyone can access on Cardone U? Are they really advertising this has blown their business up when in fact it hasn't even been used yet?

This industry continues to suffer because of foolish and false marketing.

North Star seems to be the only legit opportunity but I'm assuming it's a $2-$3k startup and 50% or less contracts correct? Is there a non compete to sign?

Does anyone offer training and at least 105-115% for telesales?

Almost any carrier will give you those contracts that will write over the phone: Liberty Bankers Life, Royal Neighbor of America, and Foresters to name a few...

There are several vendors who market direct to agents yes?

Yes, you could purchase aged internet leads, fresh internet leads, direct mail, television leads, telemarketing leads and many many more options.

Can you answer my other questions regarding NS please?

Sorry I overlooked it:

Commissions are between 40% and 70% and are discussed prior to you starting, with benchmarks communicated for higher commissions. Start up cost is $900 which consists of a start up cost, and two months prepaid on our system.

We do enforce a strict non compete agreement, thats a deal breaker for some, it certainly is a deal breaker for us.

There is alot of information we go over in a weekly webinar we run, you can sign up for that at NorthStarIA.com under the career tab.

This will be my 9th consecutive year writing over $200K in FE. I've been on a 15 lead per week order since 2008. Except for a 5-6 month period in 2009 where I was on a 20 per week order.

Then last Sept I changed to 10 per week. In Feb or March this year the lead vendor said I wasn't taking enough leads for them to protect my counties so I had to go back to 15.

I had 2 years of over $200K production with MP. I did get 10 leads, {or less}, per week when I was in MP.

how come your numbers are so much than most that sell final expense? Do you get better leads? Are you a harder worker? Did you get really good training?

How can someone duplicate your success?

I don't think those numbers are all that special. But I did take to insurance sales very quickly for some reason.

My first full month in this business I did $12K on 5 leads per week.

Yes, I got excellent training and I followed that training to the letter. Even the parts I didn't like. I ditched the parts I didn't like as I formed my own way.

But I still get great training. When I was with EFES I never missed a plug and learn call, I never missed a Friday call and I never missed an agent meeting. Same now with FEX. I never miss a training call nor an agent meeting.

I am on the groupme chat every day. As a contributor and as a learner.

How could an agent duplicate what I do? Just do what I do. Get leads, set appointments and then run the appointments.

I do the same thing every week. I never shut off the leads. I have my appointment setting days and my field days. I am normally in the field 2 days a week.

The RGI leads are really good. But the leads at EFES were really good. As were the leads I got from TLC.

Most agents don't want to do what I do as far as delivery policies and the service work. I'm seeing 3 clients tomorrow while in the field just for service work. 2 are beneficiary changes and 1 is a smoker that quit smoking and I'm helping with the paperwork to get her rate lowered.

I just finished scheduling for tomorrow so this afternoon I'm going down to help another client with a bene change. But she has a referral for me to see too.

If you want to learn a duplicable system then I would recommend FEX to anyone. The number one agent with FEX right now has been in the business less than 2 years. He gets 20 leads per week and he's at about $250K for the year. He follows everything Travis has taught to the letter.

He hasn't one time tried to reinvent the wheel.

Travis Tubbs is the best FE agent that I've ever known or known about. And he teaches his system. I say mostly because he walks the walk. In addition to running FEX he will write over $200K in personal production this year. From the same leads that the rest of us use. He's probably only in the field 1 day per week now on average.

FEX will have more than 10 $200K producers this year and more than 25 $150K producers. All trained by Travis.

This is good information! If I understand your points correctly, you followed a system and bc you were willing, it worked!

I don't understand why you don't think these same rules can't apply to telesales. We know there are people out there making it (personal feelings set aside), we know there are 6 figure earners...if a system is followed correctly and training is provided, anyone can duplicate that success.

I do know it will work for telesales. I know of many agents selling term by phone and FU whole life and UL's and making great money.

I know of even more selling med sups by phone and killing it.

It's not personal about it not working for FE telesales. It's just a fact. It's a different market and it's not a working model. And I know of zero 6 figure earners in a call center except for the people running the call center.

I said before I knew of 2 FE telesales agents making it on their own. I've been told since I said that one of them is no longer making it.

Is it possible that there is a unicorn out there? Yes, it's possible. Is it possible that someone that really knows and understands the FE market will start a call center one day and make it work? Yes, that's possible too. It hasn't happened yet.

You seem to want to believe in the tooth fairy and you're getting mad at the person that's telling you the tooth fairy is not real.

This is one of those lessons you are just going to have to learn. It can't be taught.
