Issues Contracting with EFES

I"d rather see 1099s than submitted app numbers....

That's always a decent measure but even that can be misleading.. A person could have a 1099 for 100K but if they paid out 50K in lead costs to get those sales, they didn't make as much as the agent who received a 1099 for only 60K with no lead cost.

If there is one thing I have learned in all my years of commission sales, what people tell you they earn, and what reality is are 2 entirely different things. It is in peoples nature to make their situation appear better than it is.

Kind of like people doing antiques shows and flea markets will tell you, " I made $600.00 today".. What they don't mention is the merchandise they sold cost them $400.00 .. Their set up expenses were another $100.00.. If lucky, they made $100.00.. even though they sold $600.00.

Usually by a minimum of 35-40%.

I had a brother-in-law bragging about what a great deal he got on a boat. Telling everybody he only paid $XXXXX but my other brother-in-law told me he wasn't telling anyone that he also traded another boat in the deal.

Same with gamblers. They will always talk about a great score. But not a word about all the losses.

Back to the EFES thing, I can tell you from experience that EFES will NOT under any circumstance give you a release. Ever.

Not true. I know for a factt hat they have granted releases in some cases. I also believe I would be released if I asked for one. Haven't had a reason to test that, but that's what I believe.
