My Medicare Advantage Experience Thus Far...

You are the wrong guy. You very well may be correct. But until the right guy says it, it is a failed model. Get with the program and get in line. :)

Yep, I've preached the same thing for years only to be berated for it here on the forums. The most recent was not very long ago. Of course, some of the very ones on here saying how everyone should do it are the very ones that tried to argue with me.

Not my fault if you can only learn one product. One thing for sure, whether you believe you can or you believe you can't....you're right!

We convinced them Todd.. They just won't give us credit for it... ;)

You sure have been saying it Todd. For those that are prepared to venture out of their comfort zone this is a complete game changer. Some IMOs and managers who think they are IMOs weren't pushing it for one of two reasons, they were misinformed or were too concerned about losing their overrides. Either way the agents are the ones who have been missing out on the financial stability Medicare sales provide.

When I partnered with Eric and Ben we made a long term decision to do this right and incorporate this into our DNA if you will. It's the right thing to do for our agents first and foremost and yes there is still money to be made at the IMO level over the coming years. Agents get higher ROI, much better financial stability and therefore have a much higher chance of actually becoming successful in this business. What's not to love?

New to EFES but not the industry, what is primarily discussed in their forums and weekly calls is referenced from CMS marketing guidelines, not fluff made up out of thin air. When questions are posed that aren't immediately explainable, thorough research is performed to ensure any answer given is 100% complaint.

They do not and will not take the path of least resistance when it comes to compliance. Follow the rules or go elsewhere. It is quite doable to be complaint and do well in this business. Not exactly sure where all of this hand-wringing is coming from regarding maintenance calls and clients endlessly calling.

Are you sure your presenting your product correctly and discussing the benefits, co-pays, co-insurance, MOOP and network correctly. Having amassed over 350 clients in just under 18 months and providing all of my clients with a 24 hour number to reach me if questions do arise, it is seldom that I get repeat calls from clients after they have used the product a few times.

Someone earlier mentioned they love "The Humana AOR"??...

Number 1: There is no Humana AOR
Number 2: The only way Humana will entertain it is if a handwritten original letter is received by the client and they will make a final determination in-house.

So its anything but a sure thing. Dont believe me? Directly from Humana...

The intention of the Agent of Record change policy is not for the purpose of commission entitlement. The intent is to honor legitimate requests from members who wish to change their Agent of Record due to service reasons. Actual legitimate requests should NOT be via a form letter but should be an actual written or typed request from the member. Form letters will not be accepted and will be denied and returned to the sender

Bad info like that is what gives the new unsuspecting agent pause about attempting to learn MA, In my experience with EFES/Equita, they don't disseminate information without having it fact checked first.

And they fly a trainer to your hometown to work with you exclusively once you get AHIP and product certified. Unheard of but they are cutting edge.

IMO, you cant go wrong learning from Peter Walker. And remember, Humana has no AOR form.

To those wanting to learn MA and learn how to perform the process compliantly, Contact Pete or Ben

I was kidding. I don't know anything about yall except from on here. I'm the best IMO. I wouldn't work with EFES based on how much they spam me though lol

haha to be an efes agent you have to write a novel with every post.

Haha...it is not a requirement. And one thing that I do like is that none of them are asked to ever come here and talk. We actually do not ever mention "the forum" in our Hotline. Maeducator101 is obviously with us, but I honestly have no clue who they are. Guess it is a good sign when agents are saying good things about your organization and you are not even asking them to. I know a Medicare guy here that Gollini likes :) that made a FB post pretty much begging people to come on here and say good thing about him. LOL
