Need More Traffic

This site is a joke, not a place for Real Insurance Agents, that actually work and are proud of what they do and who they are.

I'm sorry, are we not telling you that you're special? People are trying to give you good advice, ignore it if you wish. Apparently the advice you've gotten previously has failed to deliver on your website, time to try something new.

I get traffic to my website, I just wanted ideas on how to get more, some of us don't have a large budget to work with, that is why I am using WIX, I think $1000 plus for a website is alot to pay for a new agent just getting started.

Seriously, take a step back and look at your website. I sell data which accounts for about 5% of what I do and my website for that, Affordable Marketing Lists | Great lists at great prices is far from perfect, but it's clean and professional. Your website looks like a 5th graders school project that earned him a C+. If you are serious about what you do, you probably should consider investing a few hundred bucks in a decent site. Plenty of folks will hook you up with a decent wordpress site for not much. If you don't mind tinkering around with it you can spend $10 with limedomains.com and they have a one click install for wordpress. From there you can just download themes and play with it until you get it where you like it.

Going back to your initial point about this not being a place for real insurance agents that actually work, I couldn't agree with you more!

The follow the advice you got. Your website is horrible. It is acceptable only if you're back in 1996 or something.

I see you are from the Cape, I have some relatives in Malden and Kennett.

I think another problem you have is that even if you got more traffic to your site people are more likely to *NOT* want to do business with you once they see it. No website is better than a bad website.

Almost no one on these boards spends a "$1000 plus" on a site. You can host a wordpress.org site for a few bucks a month, and download more FREE site templates than you could use in a lifetime. Modifying a template to suit your needs will entail much less time than almost any other type of site you could build on your own.

If you are getting enough traffic- and more importantly SALES -form your website, then just ignore the collective advice here and laugh:D all the way to the bank. Otherwise, take ONE tip that has been offered to you and act on it.

I have made a few websites. I have used cheap software, and I have Dreamweaver CS3. With that being said, I do it for a hobby and to post my writing for friends and fans. If I had to use it for business, I would have someone else do it for me.

I heard Wordpress mentioned independently of here, from a couple people discussing nearly the same thing in my office.

Don't waste your time guys. I even called her today to offer advice and it was pretty obvious that I wasn't convenient. She was like "you can call me back later if you like." lol

You are really just embarrassing yourself at this point. You have been given correct information about your website and you don't want to accept it.

Your site makes you look VERY unprofessional. You MAY be a very good agent but if I found you through an Internet search I would keep looking.
