Overcoming Objections

Im in the process of getting my phone script together for FE cold calling. This is the first time Ive cold called before so Im getting my ideas/thoughts together. I have a list of seniors in my area and Im gonna cold call numbers in the phone book I have scrubbed to make sure they are not on the DNC list.

Im thinking I will get the "How did you get my number?" thing alot. Anyone have good advice on how to handle that?

Any advice is appreciated

Use the truth. "I bought a list of every person in your zip code in your age range that was not on the National DNC list.
The reason for my call is..." and go into your pitch.

1 out of 50 will ask. Just be honest like tins says. Most of the time it's not even an objection....they're just wondering.

An objection is ONLY an objection if after u have answered it & moved on without a pause (like in tins example) and later it comes back up by the client... The 1st time is ONLY a deflection!
