Perfect Example Of Why You Should Door Knock Your Leads

It's not a business if you wake up unemployed everyday. No cash unless you start knocking doors. What a dreary life...

Everyday, if you're only paid on your efforts, you are self employed. Which is fine, but that's not a business.

A business operates for an owner, not because of the owner.

The agent, or agency, that has a receptionist, customer service staff, and a marketing department (maybe even outsourced) is running a business.

Everyone else is pretending.
You're so FOS. I'm self-employed and answer to no one. I don't wake up unemployed every day with no cash...ever hear of renewals.

Renewals in FE are a good supplement to cash flow, but very difficult to have that as your only source of income.

And yes, if you have to get up and pound the pavement every day to bring in new cash, you wake up unemployed.

The business owner operates a system that creates cash.

For example: as an FE agent. If you hired a marketing company (DM pay per lead and maybe a digital ad firm) and has a receptionist/appointment setter. You'd be able to see more people and focus on one thing... making sales.

That's a business.

If you don't have that, you're self employed. You answer to no one and you're likely not all that happy with your income.

I would agree with you about relying on FE renewals, I'm a Med Supp guy.

I think it's hilarious that "in your mind", you know everything and your way is the only way. Bless you heart. :)

Your idea of what a business actually is, is skewed by what you actually do and then trying to put yourself on a pedestal. Stop, just stop!

Ramiz acts like he invented the FE call center way of doing business, when he actually bought an already successful call center( from Roberts). I just wish he wouldn't act like he's the one who created it.

:arghh:Who in the blazes wakes up unemployed every day? That is part of the old myth perpetrated by managers that if you wake up in the morning with no one to see you are unemployed.. Was BS in my debit day and still is BS. A part of my business is to find people to talk to. When I wake up, it time to go abut business be it calling leads, referrals, or knocking on doors.. That is the beauty of this business. Doesn't matter if you a lone wolf or an agency owner/manager, you are never unemployed (unless you choose to be)

So your saying unless you are skimming money off someone else's efforts you are not in business? How much are your employees making in the morning if they don't work?

I should have said "you're unemployed looking for work". That's what being self employed is.

A business owner wakes up and already had someone else do the grunt work of setting appointments.
