Problems with Phase II (Identify Verification)

Hey Allen you want to hear something really funny? I spoke with an agent that said they had 49 certificates and I said, What the hell are you talking about? Well come to find out they all the courses on the site, navigator, certified assister and ect. Now that was funny. She thought she had to take them all since they were listed there.

That's hilarious! She'll probably freak out when she doesn't see a FFM User ID and Certificate to print upon completion of PhaseII. I hope you told her not to expect this, BD.

I didn't mention phase II, she may not even know about. I am sure someone will let her know and she probably will freak out when a certificate doesn't show up. No one she was telling this to could believe what she had done. Even the one's that had not completed yet knew there weren't that many.

I left off my SSN and it gave me the same you are already in the system error. Then I took removed my middle name since it does not appear on my experian report and got the following message.

We were unable to verify the information you provided. Check your personal information before trying again to register with this system. If you think you have entered the correct information, please contact the Experian Verification Support Services at 1-866-578-5409 and provide the Review Reference Number - (ommitted #). You can continue setting up your account by selecting OK but you will have limited access.

I called the number and they referrred me to the EIDM Help Desk. They are closed until Monday.

These are all of the places I've been referred to so far today:
EIDM Help Desk 1-877-651-1515 (M-F 8AM- 9PM) Help with ID verification process
Exchange Operation Support Center 1-855-267-1515 option 8

This is a description of my entire issue:

I've made several attempts to complete the verification process but the system will not let me get through. I've tried using several different browser but I run into the same problem. Below you will see a description of what's going on.
1. I click the button to login to the site.
2. It ask me to acknowledge the privacy terms. I accept and click next.
3. It go goes to the page where I need to enter my user name and pass word. I enter it then click the login
button.
4. Then I click the "Request Access Button"
5. On the next page you choose your application. I choose FFM and then for the "Role" I choose
"Agent/Broker". Then I put in my NPN and my MLN and click next.
6. Then it takes you to the "Identity Verification Page" Here it tells you that it will ask you information based
on you Experian credit report and if you do not have it available to request the report. I requested the
report on the first attempt but not on my other attempts to complete the verification process.
7. Then you are taken to the "Terms and conditions Page" I accepted the terms.
8. Then I was taken back to a page where I had to re-enter my email address, social security number, date
of birth and phone number. All of the other fields were filled out. When I click next it keeps saying that I already exist in the system. It does not begin the Q&A to complete the verification process.

I tried several times with the same result. I can not figure out what else I need to do. Is there a number I can call to complete the process?

PROBLEM UNRESOLVED. To be continued.
MOOD FRUSTRATED:mad: I give up until Monday.

Leave out your social security number. (Leave it blank.) That should do it.

I'm not seeing anything regarding phase II when I log into marketplace. I'm logging into the same site that I took certificate course. I have all certificates available. Should I be seeing some sort of icon or link to phase II? If so where is it?

Any help is appreciated.

You should tell her don't stop now go for the M.D. certification.:D

I was successful setting up username and password for Phase II site. However when I log in I'm consistently getting message "Unable to Process your request at this time". Is this just a busy system or is there another problem in the works?

I spoke with them this morning at 1-877-651-5503. They said that a lot of agents have been calling and they are all having problems with the application verification process. they tok my phone number and email and said they would notify me when the problem is taken care of. If I do not hear from them by Thursday I will contact them again. Leaving off the social security number complicated the issue even more. It said that my ID could not be verified by Experian and to call their number which I did. They couldn't find me in the system and referred me to the above number. If leaving off the SSN works great. It's worth a try. If it doesn't work you'll be waiting in line for a solution like the rest of us.
BTW there is a delay on ID numbers for many exchanges. MD said until the 23rd of September or after. For the Feds. No answer except for what has been mentioned in the forums. MD said they are working on a way to get contracting information to agents for the companies associated with their exchanges.:)

I called the number you listed. Told them I had been trying for over a week to log-on and keep getting the same error message. The guy I spoke with said to keep trying, we are having some issues. I asked him if this was going to get fixed before Oct. 1st and he said, "Hopefully." That makes me feel much better.

A road block at every turn!

I entered my NPN on the application access screen. My username for Marketplace website is also my NPN, which is the second piece of required information to get to verification screen. I keep getting error that either my NPN or username are incorrect. I've gone back and confirmed that these are correct.

Anyone have this issue or has anyone overcome this issue?

the website is https://portal.cms.gov

Once you create an account or log-in, you will need to request access to their EIDM Application. From there, select FFM Application and the Role is FFM Agent/Broker. You will need your National Producer Number (NPN) and the user name you created in Part 1 (MLN UID). For additional assistance with this, you can call their support team at 1-877-651-5503.
