Problems with Phase II (Identify Verification)

The CMS Enterprise Portal is no longer a back-of-the-woods website with infrequent visitations from Medicare and Medicaid medical providers. Thanks to ObamaCare, it's getting swamped with entirely new user-groups. (Agents, Navigators, Assisters, et.al.)

The ability to successfully login depends on the traffic at that particular moment. And, for some unknown reason, if you're not able to login, the system generates a variety of error messages that say everything but, "Due to heavy traffic..Try again in a few minutes."

BTW.. is there any reason to ever login to the Portal again after you've successfully verified your identity and created a role for yourself?

I don't see why we would ever use it. When doing an application with your respective carrier their system is suppose to take you everywhere you need to go.

Thanks Yagents. It's funny how Humana knew this but the Federal Government didn't.

Has anyone tried to access the CMS ID verification site today. I can get to the "Request Access" part but when I click on it It says the page you requested can't be found. Has anyone else gotten this error. I did get and email from them today which didn't tell me anything new.

** Is the SHOP Marketplace & exam & course necessary to sell in the SHOP? The site says optional & do not need to be completed. Just want to confirm. Thanks.

Just got right in, but did not see a certificate for completion of verification or is the second form they're asking for the one supplied by Humana?

If you have certificate that says individual and shop curriculum completed no those are just optional.

Thanks BD. It just seems weird it says optional when everything is basically optional if you want to sell in that area.
