Rate comparison, Lincoln Heritage and Senior Life

So what would be the rate for him?(Age 67 male smoker with COPD and nebulizer) And how much coverage 1st year, 2nd year? And what % of the 1st year premium would the agent be paid?
$10,000 is the max he could offer, but I have a suspicion you are already aware of that shortcoming.

So the argument that any one company could EVER be a match for an agent who can select from multiple companies is over? Done?

Because with just one common ailment which agents run into every single week the broker agent would offer
1. a MUCH lower premium
2. A higher face amount
3. First day full coverage
4. Plus receive around TWICE the commission

So I assume that it's not even debatable that the simplicity of selling one company is just not enough of a benefit compared to being really competitive in the field.

Who would you rather be:
A. a Senior Life agent that just arrived at that appointment with his $30 lead a week after a good independent agent had sold it?

B. An independent agent that arrived at that home with his $30 lead a week after a good Senior Life agent had sold it.

There are advantages to both the customer and the agent to having multiple companies to choose from.

Haven't you been paying attention to the discussion? The point is that as a captive, there's a lot of people that you could better serve if you had a variety of companies with different UW niches.

I asked why do you care? What business is it of yours anyway. I don't ask you or anyone else how many carriers you represent. It's none of my concern. You are majoring in the minors and minoring in the majors.
One thing for sure, I can write for one carrier and easily out write you who might represent 20 carriers. Why? Because you hang around up here all day long 7 days a week.

As an independent agent we can give him 1st day coverage with:
KSKJ $136.01
TransAmerica $196.10
Liberty Bankers $183.40
Americo $162.26

New to the biz agent would get between 100 to 120% 1st year commission on that case depending which company he wrote it with.

Or if needed a GI plan:
AIG $134.98
Gerber $137.04

New to the biz agent would get between 60 to 80% if he wrote the case GI depending on which GI company he wrote it with.

But Newby, Todd said he gives 110% to 125%.

Interesting....the GI rates are much cheaper than immediate coverage rates.

You said 68 above, not 67. These rates for the COPD are cheaper. Who cares? Our Legacy plan more than compensates for the cheaper rate. Remember, Legacy savings is 1st day savings irregardless of health.

If you're happy where you're at great. I'm happy where I'm at. So why can't you guys ever say anything positive about anyone other than who you represent? You guys are always trying to look smart in front of brand new agents and the idiots on this forum.

I've wasted way too much time up here today arguing with idiots like Todd. You guys pound your chest, talk about how much better Todd's opportunity is compared to Newby, 360, Ben, Matt, David, and others.
By the way, the successful ones just mentioned above rarely frequent this place except maybe Newby. Tells you anything?

That's the kind of response someone gives when they can't come up with a response. Are you sure you're not a Liberal?
