We need a Baltimore Life contract for Tele-Sales. . .

He just sat here and tried to get agents to reveal their uplines and contract amounts and then said he would make trouble if he did not like what he saw. Sure don't sound like a good guy to me. With friends like that who needs enemies.

What you don't understand is that I'm all about the agent and the client. I could give 2 craps about the insurance companies themselves. As for the IMOs....if we have rules we have to play by, then I expect the others in the same category to follow the same rules set by the insurance company. Do you really think I'm going to work at a disadvantage and not say anything?

How would you like it if you knew there was an agent in your area getting away with things that are breaking the rules, but the DOI says it's okay because they produce more than you, or something to that effect?

I take a deep pride in the fact that I have never played policeman or secret agent or do-gooder for humanity or whatever bogus name you want to call yourself. I am an insurance agent and it is not my job to play policeman.

There are plenty of agents that break rules. Seems like a few times per month I call on a prospect that has Philadelphia American that did not medically qualify. Do you think I should call Philly up and tell them to rescind the policy?

Well, I never said it was your job. If you are an agent, then do just that and leave the rest of it to the ones that actually do what they do.

Then again, you and I are probably made from a different cloth. When I was an agent out in the field I had no problem in helping a client write a letter to the DOI if they truly felt like they were wronged and if it was something that was blatantly done just to sell a policy. Being an agent is hard enough. We don't need agents who literally go out and lie and deceived clients everyday just to make a sale. I take this business seriously. Some don't.

Oh toot toot your own horn and what a bunch of baloney. So were they a client of yours when they bought the bad policy or after. Lets do examine this nonsense closely.

But you shouldn't have a problem if you and your upline got those levels for you on the up and up. Are you trying to say that your upline is involved in sending false information to the company? This would be the ONLY way you got that/those levels with the 2 companies we are referring to.

At least 2 of you!

And all 3 of you are worried that it would cause a stink huh? If you got those levels honestly you would have nothing to worry about, but yet you do. What's wrong with that picture?

You're all 3 correct about one thing though....you won't prove it. I still suspect that at least 2 out of the 3 of you just can't because you don't have those levels and you're just trying to play the big shot that you are not.

It is actually good for you that you don't prove it to me if you actually have those levels. Not that I would be out to get you, because every agent should be trying to get the most they possibly can. It's the upline that would be under the magnifying glass. And yes, you're damned right I would raise a stink! If rules are set by the company for me to follow, then all IMO's must follow the same rules....without exception!

This where you are wrong.

It's their company, and they do what they want despite what they tell you. They have no contractual agreement with you to not offer different levels to whomever they please.

I can promise you this. If you one day start writing in excess of 50 million in premium, you too will be able to put agents at IMO level contracts without them having proof of production.

You just simply don't have the influence via production to make that happen.

I'm seriously baffled by this conversation and Todd's ignorance.

Rules are created by the carrier and exceptions can be made by the carrier. And certain IMO's have the power to make exceptions too.

Not all IMOs are treated or cared for equally. The more business you do, the more the company will do for you.
