Wellcare Wants PROOF of Medicare Coverage

Yeah, I was vague on that 8/10...meant 8 out of 10 applicants are going with MA. I present information on both, and the prospects go with what they want.

And I get 9/10 folks who elect to buy a Medigap plan vs renting an MA plan.

Go figure

No pressure. Just a fair representation of what each has to offer.

This thread is a little over a year old now and some agents are just now finding this discussion. The current topic on the forum now is more about how many PDP & MAPD carriers will no longer pay a commission, not which product is better for the consumer, or which carrier(s) are poaching agent business.

What a difference a year makes . . .

Ah yes.....WellCare....I just prevented 3 people with no drugs/super low cost drugs from going with them today (who otherwise would've), while simultaneously giving them one person whose drug costs are sky high. F*ck with my money, I f*ck with your money. What's fair is fair...............

So you are purposely giving clients plans that will cost them more money than they'd otherwise pay just to get even with a company? Hopefully your area of the county also has other zero premium plans for those folks.

That's a whole lot of false assumptions for one post. They're also given full disclosure that they can choose to accept a $0 premium plan from said company who loves to steal from people, or they can pay $12/month with another company, keep me as their agent, and the cost of the drugs will be very similar, and in some cases even beat WellCare. Moreover, more than price goes into picking a plan. For the one person that I placed with Wellcare, they will monetarily benefit immensely from going with them, and WellCare will also be paying immensely. a win/win for me and the client.
