23.00 set price Direct Mail leads vs Facebook leads

that's not too bad. So do you just Dornoch everybody or do you set appointments?

I usually sell about 20% of any type lead I buy. Most times I write about $2500AP per 20 leads which is good for my area. It is hard to get a good lead and hard to sell those I do get. I door knock every lead.

Nice. I imagine the shelf life on the Facebook leads goes quick. Making door-knocking most efficient.

What's your area? I've heard a couple tough areas like parts of Massachusetts or San Diego, San Francisco.

I think the shelf life of a FB lead is just as long as any other type lead. The people here are bombarded with mailers, phone calls and other agents knocking on their door. They don't know why I am there until I show them the lead card. Come to FL if you want to see a different breed of people.

Your the first person that I've heard say the shelf life on Facebook leads compares to the shelf life of direct mail.
maybe someone else can add their experience.

I just can't imagine 6 months later they would be like oh yeah I remember that lol

Are you saying that 6 months later they remember returning the reply card. Within 6 months they have sent in several reply cards, been called multiple times by telemarketers and probably responded to FB more than once. A good number of the people I see won't admit to responding to DM the first time I make contact. Some even deny going on FB and it has been less than a week.

Yes most do and it's a more trusting peice of evidence that they inquired because it's in their writing.

I've closed many dated leads so much so that I dont even pay it any mind anymore a lead is a lead.
Now most these are dated because they dint answer the phone, I work by appointment only.

So when I get no showed or leave a house that has no deal, I look through that dated stuff and pick couple close ones and doorknock them.
How old that lead is never comes into play or not enough to matter for either of us

This may be true for some but not the majority, in my opinion...here's my personal take on this. I dont care if they mailed out 1 card or 10
I dont sweat that stuff those are "what ifs" adding those stats of what she may or may not have done would just set me up for failure by stressing out my sale lol

Im the contrary, I know I'm the guy, if she's going to buy insurance from Anybody it's going to be me lol
That's the mentality I approach with.

Maybe it comes from knowing I've got a great carrier lineup and have a very good chance to put her in the best situation possible or a better situation.
Maybe from knowing I'm going to give her the best price I have (personal choice) to each their own on who they lead with.

Maybe from knowing the five other agents before you sucked and dint sell her anything...or the one that did is way overpriced.

Too many factors

If your showing them a DM lead card and their denying it, and you said it's a good number of folks that your getting that from.
I would recommend working on the approach something is misfiring there.

I have not worked a lot of leads.. not nearly as many as most on this forum.. but I still have had the conversation go like this:

"Here's the card you signed and sent in".

"Yeah, that's my signature but I didn't sign it".
