You redacted the name out of respect JRoot?! because I "feel" intimidated but it wasn't to intimidate me? You didn't redact because that is actually a crime -it's because you are a gentleman? Okay. Got it. Thanks for showing that release form phrase so that people know what they are looking at. I stand by what I said. I did not post falsely. I have not seen another release form with that in there.I'm done JRoot but if you want to keep showing your Will Smith-"Kepp my name out cha mouth"- I'm butt hurt that someone took difference with something that I do and exercised their right to say something so I am going to do the 1st wildly inappropriate impulsive and aggressive move I can think of" side,..go right ahead. You doxxed me. I have the screenshots and if you say anything more about me personally, that can land you in court or even jail as you can't undox me to make those future comments somehow not attached and therefore non-incriminating.. Meet Karen 2.0
Doxxing itself isn't a crime.

Every release form I've seen (including my own) has that same language.

I'm not sure why you're so angry but why not just move on with your career and go sell some insurance?

I invite you to think carefully about what you say about me from here out, JRoot. Slander is illegal. Doxxing for the sake of intimidation or harassment is actually a crime. Your pockets are deeper than mine. I'll be in touch with the administrators of this forum. You want Karen. You got Karen

The only identifying info that was stated was that a female was released to NorthStar. There are hundreds of females that work at North Star, both in person and remote. No mention of name, age, hair color, phone number etc.

CLTX-'They have you sign a non compete that you will not go to work for a competitor for one year after your employement with Digital BGA is finished. "
JRoot (paraphrased)-'Hey remember when we released you to a competitor?'
CLTX-(paraphrased)-SLANDER!

But also I myself might be guilty.

I redacted your name out of respect since you feel intimidated. My intention is to level the playing field. When someone posts falsely about us behind an anonymous username, the only way to have fair discourse is to understand who the person is. Luckily it was easy to figure out who you were since you said there was a non-compete and a release involved in your original comment.

Now that I know who I'm detailing with, to clarify your original comment:

1. We do not make it difficult for agents to leave. You left just fine with no hassle.

2. The non-compete comment doesn't apply to independent agents. Only to hourly/salaried agents. You were making it sound like all agents with DigitalBGA had to sign a non-compete and that's not true for 99%+ of agents.

3. As for the release form, I see the executed one you signed and here's what it says:

Does the releasing entity require that the accepting entity and its owner(s), member(s), partner(s),and/or principal(s) guarantee on a personal and corporate level (if applicable) to take complete responsibility for the full repayment of the debt obligations of the transferring entity to the manufacturers and/or releasing entity referenced in this agreement for sales that have been completed and commissions/overrides paid while producing business under the releasing entity's hierarchy?

"Debt obligations" refers to the debt you don't pay that your upline would be obligated to pay. YOU are responsible, then your upline if you don't pay - it's universally understood. IMO's don't take exception to what you're complaining about. Some take exception to the last statement about being responsible for sales that have been completed under our hierarchy. If that's the case, we mark "no" on it and still process the request.

I've received this exact wording on release requests from other agencies. Duford and I have both signed releases with this wording to each other.

So...your smoking gun is revealed. Now what?
That's the same release wording we all use. And I (FexContracting) would never agree to release an agent to an Upline that has a problem with that agreement. I don't think I've ever run into one that had any problem with it.
I have never had a problem getting a fast release with any agent coming from Digital BGA and have worked smoothly in both directions when I released to them also.
Many agencies are not fair with agents and deserve a bad reputation. Digital BGA is not one of them.

You really are a typical Karen. You can call jroot out by name but he cannoy mention who you are? Sounds as if you beed to grow up.

JRoot makes his persona public for the sake of getting agents. In doing so and in that this forum allowed for an honest discussion of the pros and cons of his business I have a right to express what I think is a key factor that new agents should be aware of before joining his agency. At 1st he said that I misinterpreted it and they don't have releases like this that put the outstanding commissions on the new IMO and then he changed his stance to -"yes, we do put the financial burden on the other IMO but that is standard." I never brought his name up in the 1st post. I addressed the agency. JRoot made the choice to then tell a lie about me which was that I was misinterpreting and then he crossed the line and broke the law. Obviously, if you do things like that I am going to defend myself and let you know that I know how to protect myself. At the point he launched into me-there is not a way to come out winning-is there? If I allow him-well then there you go...he showed her. Clearly she wasn't being honest. If I fight back-I am a uncoachable hot tempered immature Karen. Okay. Call me Karen then. That law exists to stop exactly what happened and protect people. As a business owner, your image is presumed to be public however he could have posted as Joe Smoe and took up the cause for DigitalBGA and no one would know. That is a choice for each of us.To be public or private For all I know, some taking up for him, work for him, with him, have close associations and common interests or are him. That is fine. As an individual I have the right to remain private. You don't decide for me and you don't get to intimidate someone by doxing them because you don't like their opinion especially when facts back that opinion up. You are a hypocrite for telling me to grow up when, if JRoot had not made it personal-just and showed the release early on and then articulated why he feels it is justified like an adult, then we definitely wouldn't be here.
Only a coward hides behind the bushes to take shots at someone else. You have wasted enough time trying to make jroot look bad to have written several new plans.

Really.

You and the rest of us are here as a privilege. Your post can be deleted. You can be deleted from the forum.

As I posted before, this thread isn't even in the top ten of epic release post, yet. But I can see you are a high achiever and are determined to reach the top. I believe in you.

It is obvious that she joined the forum in order to slam jroot. This is the only thread she has participated in since joining. The thing is she was very misleading from the start making it sound as all jroot's downline had to sign a noncompete which apparently is not true.

Lets see there are protective laws for whistle blowers, there is witness protection, anti-doxing laws and statutes. Funny how the law and mutiple lawmakers disagree with you then. Only a vindictive and I assume emotionally stunted man slanders and doxes anyone who is critical of his business. That was an opportunity to get better and look good in the process for JRoot had he handled it right. If any of you are here to recruit..I suggest you stop to think what a newbie would think of your take on this. You are on this platform telling someone that an agency owner has the right to do these things to her for being critical of his business -even in an honest and factual way and furthermore she is a Karen for taking issue with that. Do you really think the self-respecting newbies reading this are going to be eager to then work with you? Good luck.

Lets see there are protective laws for whistle blowers, there is witness protection, anti-doxing laws and statutes.

So now you're a whistle blower who's going into the witness protection program because of a post on a forum about an IMO contract.

A few more posts and you're going to be presenting before the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The level of persecution and injustice you've been subjected to is truly historic. We'll all be telling our grandchildren about this one.
