I created a (FE agents only group) on Facebook

I didn't know this forum existed prior to a week before I showed up.

And last I checked people from fex are still at fex.

Anyway don't be upset the sandbox is big enough for everyone

I don't -think- he was say they (FEX) are not welcome. They just seemed to have left when the Tubbs Welfare thing hit. Not sure why since it was not an FEX thing.

Glad Newby is kinda back. He is a knowledgeable guy that has always shared.

Welfare what Huh, what does welfare have to do with FEX

Cudos on being man enough to accept the rejection without becoming bitter and slamming Doug at every chance you get... Be a better forum if more were like that.

I credit Doug with what little success I have had with using Trans - his Trans app and underwriting video certainly made things smoother for me using that carrier.

I have no reason to bash him. He has been very helpful to me. If I got my panties in a bunch over a little rejection then I surely have picked the wrong field:

Me: I hate rejection ... I know! I'll sell life insurance! Surely there will be no rejection there!

Doug: :nah:

Since no one has said it so far, I'll give away the dirty little secret about Facebook groups, particularly industry specific.

They are there to sell you something. Whether that be a course, leads, recruiting, whatever, they are there to sell you something.

I belong to a number of them, and many of them are quite valuable, many more are worthless. But very few, and none of the industry ones, are truly altruistic. There is always an end goal of the creator to monetize it in some way.

Now does that make Facebook groups bad? Not at all, but it does make anyone running one who says otherwise a liar.

Well you let me know if someone on mine tries to sell you something so I can kick them out myself included

Right... you are going to run this group and are trying to grow it, but you're never going to recruit, try to sell a system or anything....

I was born at night, just not last night.

Maybe you've just been around a bunch of weasels so when you meet an honest person seems odd to you
