Securus Did It Again

Bushwaffle, if you would like to give me a call I think I can help you out with starting anew.

I've only known one person to ever get a release from Securus, so chances are very slim that you will. You should be able to re-contract with many of the companies after going 6 months without writing business with them.

Meanwhile, like it is said, there are other companies you can use. RNA is one of the better companies that you can start out with. 5 Star is right up there as well.

65 bps would be a raise...its 55bps:1baffled:

Just leave them. Tell them you are done and that you want no more leads. If they are leads that you have obligated yourself to pay for then pay for them and work them. If your contract says that business has to be put on their carriers then do so.

Then pick up som contracts with companies that you are not tied to thru Securus. That's not an issue The only I saw that you might to keep anyway is Monumental but thaey are no huge loss. I was a fulltime FE agent for over 3 years before I added Monumental myself and if I was told I couldn't write them anymore I wouldn't miss them.

You are going to need leads where ever you contract going forward. How are you going to get them? Do your own mail or partner with a lead IMO?

Todd King gave you his contact info. That's a good start. I don't know if Newby is contracting agents or not but you could ask him. Also go to Newby's website and spend a day.

You are nearly as stuck as it feels right now.

Bushwaffle I am in the same boat @ Securus. Sinking in that you really have to recruit and "build" to get the 55% up to something reasonable. Don't really want to have to train and recruit right now. Now they suggest to build to get to the new agents "warm list". I think that's what NAA taught.

Keep us posted on your journey.
