Or maybe they're not old enough. I miss Eddie Grills. I didn't always agree with him, but he was a real, legit insurance man! Seems like it's the youngsters in leadership there that are causing all the problems. When Settlers was a smaller, regional carrier, they were a really fantastic group to work with.

As a company, it has gone steadily down since Jack & Edith Harmon and Jesse Walker were forced out. Pre receivership days it was a great company..Shame they met a fellow named Martin Frankel..( think he was unfortunately released in 2016)

Just going by what I heard from the Horses mouth yesterday, and not from the Jack Ass's mouth today from you Matty . . .

You heard it from the guy who told you last week NO ONE was selling it over the phone. Then on Monday, magically, turns out agents are selling it over the phone.

I needed a phone product once and settlers was competitive. I called and was told you have to meet f2f. It was really hard to write for them.

Well, that may be one of the reasons we don't have to worry about doing business with them any more.

And the other main reason is that they did not understand what the word, "Partner" actually means. I'm pretty sure their interpretation was very close to the same definition as, "Company Man" or "Captive Slave".

Oh, and the other reason is that they didn't have real life insurance. It was "Love" insurance!
