Well, he has not be charged with anything... Nor has JD. Neither of them care for me and do not need me to defend them but fair is fair.. Let's wait until the end of August and see how things turn out..

This has nothing to do with JD. I felt like it was cowardly of him to hide when the tables turned, but he didn't break the law.

Travis is guilty for being a major hypocrite and possibly a criminal. Either he is guilty of making fun of others for not making money while he was illegally receiving welfare benefits or legally receiveing welfare benefits.

Either way the owner of fex contracting is on welfare...

He is correct. Settlers Life requires you to be WITH the insured when taking the app. I wish i could do these on the phone. I would use them more.

I've never spoken with Rob or anybody else in company leadership about this. But when the Express App was first introduced, I called and asked someone in agency services whether we could sell over the phone now. She told me they were hoping to roll out telesales to the entire field force in the future, but for now they were only allowing a few select agencies to do so as a test. I'm imagining the test is partly to see whether that's persistent business, which would include 25th month and maybe even 37th month numbers. So I don't see it as a possibility for agents outside the "select" group having that available for quite a while, if ever.

While I do like Rob, he's never been 100% on what Settler's does or doesn't do. I've had him say one thing only to find out he was wrong. I'm not trying to say he isn't good at his job, only that he's not always right.

At this point with him though, he's just looking to work out the next few months and then retire, so I wouldn't expect that to get any better.

Maybe that's part of the problem, too many "old farts" biding their time. They need to either start eating bacon, or get some younger blood at Settlers.

I think they just simply need to put someone in charge that actually understands the business instead of just thinking he does. When the top of the chain is a slow moving cancer it is very hard to tell just how bad that cancer is spreading until it's too late.

Here is just a very small sample: Settler's; America's Final Expense Company.

Really? They are so far removed from being THAT company that it's a joke. A very laughable one at that! What idiots! Keep in mind that this is what you see on the surface. It makes one wonder what really goes on behind the scenes there. If you knew some of that (which I do), you would be amazed!

It's a shame, because I think Settlers has potential. There are a lot of things I like about them.....but there are enough negative things that it's just not worth dealing with them, unless they're the only company to fit a situation.
