Terminated?!

That is a sad situation but do you see the irony that you are asking a Heath insurance company to forgive your problems because you chose to take your chances of going without health insurance?

I don't think that is going to soften them up too much.

Atilla

You have my support and prayers. Wishing you the best of luck in your rehab. That could be anyone of us. I wish they could seperate dead beats from people with just some bad luck that hits good people. Not all people with bad credit are bad or dishonest people. As I said before if our government people faced credit checks for their jobs a lot of congressmen and senators would be out of work tomorrow.

Thank you to all on this forum who have offered good thoughts and offers to help with my situation. You "STRANGERS" have offered me more encouragement and good wishes than my Regional Supervisor who I have been producing for as a top producer the past three years. ACTUALLY, he didn't even pick up the phone to say as much as "hang in there" even though he knows my situation.
Thank God that my medical providers are not as mean as UHC as they are providing me the best care I could hope for with the attitude of "Who cares about the money". I will continue fighting the cancer and for my appointment. If my ancestor can take over half the world, maybe I can convince UHC I am a good risk to make money for them.
God Bless you all and GET YOUR PSA LEVEL TESTED!

I would think as long as you are bringing them business, they wouldn't care about your credit

Hi JoVa,

I can understand them being hinky about me if my bad credit was due to foreclosures on condos or Hummers that I defaulted on but this is all about my score dropping due to medical bills! I was producing for them on a high level compared to others here in the Panhandle.

I love the business and hope that I can continue producing for them, if not, I have people like Frank on here to get good advice and contracts from!

Like they say, "When God closes one door on you, then go out the window FAST before her husband finds the key!"
:D

IMO101, I believe he said his manager didn't care. Sounds like he already tried that.

Atilla,

My heart goes out to you. That really sucks.

A health insurance company that is suppose to exist to help people with medical expenses is firing a person for having the audacity to get sick. Not a whole lot of compassion there.

If you can think of something we could do I'd be the first one in line. With as many members as this forum has one would think there would be something. Guess they are a little bit bigger than we are.

I'm not sure if the Regional Manager is referring to the UHC Regional, or the actual upline with the FMO.

Atilla, are you in the ICA Channel, or the FMO Channel?

If you are in the ICA Channel, and your ICA Manager and State Sales Manager, as well as their Regional Manager, all won't help...please let us know. If this is the case, you are talking about UHC Employees. If you are in this channel (ICA), and no one is helping you, I would really like to know what County you are in, so that I can do some personal research.

However if you are in the FMO Channel, then the UHC Regional Manager isn't really the person to ask for the supporting letter. This would be your upline, as well as the FMO. For example this could be a GA or an MGA.

If you are in the FMO Channel, and no one is willing to write a supporting letter, I would really like to know which FMO that is, if you don't mind sharing the information.

I am really sorry about this, and wish you the very best.

Take care.

Attilla, I am wondering if this Regional Supervisor is with an FMO? That isn't an official title that UHC uses, as far as I know. I want to provide advise, on the next best steps, but just need to confirm what channel you are in. Also, did you already file the written appeal? If so, time is of the essence to request and obtain a supporting letter, and to submit it with your appeal asap. Call me if you want to discuss offline, or reply here, whichever you prefer.

Just curius... any reason you didnt have health insurance?

Legitamate question. If Atila is a top producing agent, and has been a top producer for 5 years as Atila claims, then Atila has a massive book of business and a high income.

Why no health insurance Atila? Did you ever apply or even get a quote?

He who has a lot, has a lot to lose.
